Beautiful condos overlooking the ocean. Immaculate grounds. The main pool is truly stunning, built into natural lava stones. There are BBQ grills, plenty of tables, seating, and umbrellas poolside. The beds and pillows are so comfortable, and I am definitely picky about those two things. All of the staff have been incredibly helpful. See my photos. A picture speaks a thousand words. Rooms: Large, comfortable furniture, and balconies that all overlook the ocean.
Walkability: It’s a short walk to amazing restaurants and shopping.

I just wanted to thank the front desk at Lawaii Beach Resort for helping my wife. You see, 2 days before our 50 th wedding anniversary my wife had a heart attack. So this delayed our trip to Kauai. When we were finally cleared by her doctors to go, we went to Kauai. The front desk at Lawaii Beach Resort was kind and helped us to get a room that had an ocean view. You see all she wanted to do is sit on the balcony and watch the ocean. So THANK YOU ANNIE, LEO, MALEN, AND MJ FOR FULFILLING MY WIVES DREAMS. THANK YOU AGAIN!
Rooms: Great rooms. Great view.

My family rented a 2bd unit for a week and loved it. Watching waves and surfers from our lanai. Easy walking or easy drive.
Rooms: Big rooms. Living room had great ocean views in Alii building
Noteworthy details: Great to be in the pool and have food grill at the same time.

No AC. Never below 80 in our room. Staff are not very helpful.

Rooms: Three buildings all just a little different. One bed/bath or two bed/bath. Pull out couch. Average quality furnishings, and clean. A/c is not routinely available, must inquire. Three pools, pickleball, bbq’s, fitness room, putt putt.
Safety: On site security is easy to call for any issues. Wrist bands worn for identifying guests.
Walkability: Some sidewalks available. Busy road. One mile to Spouting Horn. About a mile to shopping center. If all you want to do is stay on the south shore, it’s fine.
Food & drinks: No on site restaurant. Vending machines.

Check in was simple. The room was ready, stocked, and clean. The lanai was faced towards the ocean and you could hear the waves. You could watch the snorkeling and surfing.

Great place, great location with many activities and adventures close by. Resort is nicely kept up, offers things to do, friendly staff, relax and swim at all wonderful pools.
Rooms: Spacious rooms, and clean, and comfortable
Walkability: Close to shops and food options in walking distance. Even attractions close by. Ocean right across the street.
Food & drinks: Nice eating places and options close, and I like the fact that there's Happy Hour for a drink and snack!!

It was nice and stormy. But it's not the North shore that I love the best and that was the place I lived for quite a while. That is where my favorite beaches are such as kalihiwai and hanalei. Milwaukee Beach resort though is right on the ocean where you can see the waves during the day and where you can hear them all night. That's important when you're staying on this island. Hearing the ocean is the best thing while you sleep.
