We stayed here many years ago when it was first being built. we were able to walk up on the shores and see some turtles in the coves battling the waves in and out.

Great location, value, service, and amenities. The staff and scenery especially. The rooms are spacious but need renovating.

Old and Tired. Broken tiles, dirty furniture, worn out carpets. Elevators not working. This should not be a Hilton offering at this time. The staff was very professional and nice and did all that they could, but this resort is not ready.
I glad I did not invite another couple to come with us, as we have in the past. I would have been embarrassed.

Amazing staff. We were put in a room not near the parking lot as requested, but that's okay since all we had to do was call for a ride. Cart would pick us up. Sometimes, it's right to the patio. My brother had health restrictions. The guys and security were the best! The front desk at night was awesome! Thank you so much for making us feel welcome. Also, whoever dropped off the fan on our room while we were out was our hero. Didn't ask for it because we did not know to ask, but so thankful someone did bring it. So thank you!!!
Nearby activities: Beach. Hiking. Turtles in the water.

Great place for a lovely stroll on the beach and take in all the scenery on property as well. Enough space for a massage table to fit with Laulea Kai Spa Mobile Massage.

My family and I just returned from a beautiful vacation in Kauai. We stayed at The Point and everyone was extremely friendly, helpful and kind. But this resort is in such need of a facelift, renovations and just over all new everything. It is so worn. I do believe the staff is hard at work but this resort does not make you think “Hilton”. Chipped paint, smelly carpet, rust, stains, old fixtures, worn sofa, chairs/cushions, landscape dry, hot tub surface peeling, pool chair cushion worn/bird poop everywhere……Hyatt next door is gorgeous proving it is possible.
Nearby activities: Great location. Beach is close

Nice two bedroom timeshare units with great views of the ocean, nice kid friendly pool and close to town.

My recent 5-night stay at the Hilton Kauai was an unfortunate experience. From the moment we checked in, it was clear that this property was not up to par, with exposed drywall throughout the building and the elevator consistently getting stuck.
Upon entering our room, we were greeted by a pervasive sewage/sulfur smell that lingered in our room, and was particularly noticeable during showers.
To make matters worse, our room was plagued by a variety of pests. We encountered both ants and cockroaches, ranging from small to large, which made our stay incredibly unpleasant. The constant presence of these pests made it difficult to relax and enjoy our vacation.
To add insult to injury, there was ongoing construction throughout our stay. The noise and disruption from the construction made it impossible to fully relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. It was a constant reminder that we were not in a tranquil paradise.
Overall, our experience at the Hilton Kauai was disappointing. The combination of pest infestations, unpleasant odors, and ongoing construction made our stay far from enjoyable. We would not recommend this property to anyone seeking a relaxing and comfortable vacation.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Sheraton in Poipu, and it was an outstanding experience. The hotel’s location is simply unbeatable, situated right on the beach and within walking distance of a variety of attractions and restaurants. Waking up to the sound of the ocean and having immediate access to Poipu Beach was a dream come true.
One of the highlights of our stay was the abundance of activities available nearby. The snorkeling right off the beach was fantastic, with vibrant marine life just a short swim away. We even had the chance to see seals and turtles up close, which made our experience even more magical. For those interested in surfing, the nearby breaks offer great waves, suitable for both beginners and more experienced surfers.
The hotel itself was comfortable and well-appointed, with spacious rooms that provided everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The on-site restaurants offered delicious options, and the staff were friendly and attentive, always eager to help with any request.
Overall, the Sheraton in Poipu is a perfect destination for those looking to combine comfort and convenience with the natural beauty and excitement of Kauai. We can’t wait to return!

My family and I stayed here this week and were VERY disappointed in the rooms. For how much the hotel costs you do not get your moneys worth. The room itself was very outdated and infested with cockroaches. When we pulled out the queen sofa bed and it had multiple stains and the pillows/ extra sheets were stained as well. This hotel does not deserve a 4 star review. We immediately addressed this to the front desk. The staff was appalled by the photos I showed and immediately started looking for another room for us. They were very accommodating though and we appreciated that.
If you are staying here make sure you request a room in BUILDING 6. Those rooms are renovated and upgraded. If you are staying in that building you will feel as though your money is somewhat worth it. everything else on the property is very outdated and old. Even down to the lounge chairs at the pool.
The amenities aren’t all that amazing. The pool is only 4ft deep. So if you are here with kids it’s not bad. But if you are here with just adults the pool may not be for you. We paid resort day passes to spend our time at grand Hyatt because this Hilton hotel was horrible.

Resort is in a great location, but most facilities are aged. Renovations are underway with 1 of 10 buildings complete. Schedule is to complete all buildings approximately 1 each 3 months.
Rooms: Un-renovated rooms are aged, but comfortable. Location is great, staff friendly and near-by shopping and access to beaches is easy and convenient.
