Bought souvenirs from them on our 3rd day in Kauai. Leah was very nice and helpful. Well-stocked clean store. They have tons of souvenirs to choose from! Highly recommended if you are in the area.

This is a mainland ideal review so take it for what it’s worth. This place was very expensive and it took forever for someone to get to the register to purchase my stuff. If I gotta pay over $6 for a kids juice, I’d rather not wait to have to do so

Look, I’m going to set to rest the controversy concerning the “rude and belligerent” cashier lady that works the Sunday shift. Admittedly, I am a very attractive man. Also, I am somewhat of a ruffian. Some have said the Brad Pitt of the South-Southwest….I was browsing the liquor aisle (due to the many bright colors to entertain me, I don’t even drink anymore since the mishap) and I felt the familiar feeling of surveilling eyes upon me. Lame. I wouldn’t steal….but my little baby momma insisted I do look like a thief and I should understand. Anyways, I forgave the cashier and we joked about how much spinach dip she eats. She consumes VERY MUCH AMOUNT OF THAT SPINACH DIP, Reportedly.
Let’s all just remember our suitcases could only fit so many goods and a little gratitude comes with no extra tax. Mahalo.

We were browsing the store and my 5-year-old picked up an individually wrapped treat he wanted. On his way over to ask me if he could have it (does this ever happen to any other parents? ;), he dropped it on the floor and picked it back up to show me. The lady at the store said, "Your dad's going to need to pay for that now." We examined the treat together - no damage or broken seal to the wrapping. Even with clear evidence, she dug her heels in and insisted. I was sad to have someone treat us so rudely in front of my family and other shoppers. I've never been treated like that in a store. Although we had several other things we were going to purchase there, we put it all back, reluctantly paid for the item and left.

This store is very close to the beach. If you need to buy drinks and some snacks, you can go to this store to buy them! But if you navigate here from Google Maps, you still have to park your car and walk in through the dew in the middle!

Edit: There is a young man cashier that absolutely made our day today. My original review was for a visit a week ago. Today’s experience was stellar. Adjusted from 1 to 3 stars.
I was standing in line with my little boy behind some locals. Cashier was having a conversation with the locals, pointed at me, and switched the topic to tourists who are ruining the local economy and driving prices through the roof. They all looked at us again laughing and saying something I didn’t understand. Super awkward when I got up next to pay. Treated me like I was going out of my way to ruin her day. Crazy

Again, on a Sunday whoever the lady is who works the Sunday morning shift needs to lose her job. Rude, obnoxious, and on the phone making personal calls while folks are trying to check out. I run a restaurant in Los Angeles and if this employee ever spoke to guests like that he would be fired immediately. The owners need to take stock in the staff, especially if they are going to charge these outrageous prices to their clientele

Damn, I said hello to the cashier, smiled, she didn’t say anything back and had a very annoyed face. Then I said thank you and smiled and she didn’t reply again ? as other bad reviews here say, very rude. It was on Sunday. How can you treat people like that man..
