The artwork is incredible. The gallery is a destination in itself. In addition, their customer service is excellent. I had issues with 2 giclees I bought over 10 years ago. They promptly made it right. I cannot recommend this gallery highly enough. Mahalo!!

I am new to living in Maui & just saw the gallery for the first time. I was so impressed by the artists attention to detail. I absolutely love his work and it's a wonderful place to spend some of your morning or afternoon! Cannot wait to own a Curtis Wilson Cross piece!

The most beautiful landscapes by a second generation Maui artist. Beautiful, lovely paintings!

We just spent a lovely hour or so at the Curtis Wilson Cost gallery in Kula. What a joy to see his beautiful paintings, but especially to meet him. In addition to being extremely talented, Curtis is down to earth, was curious about us and our own art interests, and is very generous with his time. It was a privilege to spend time with him, his wife Jill, and Estelle, who was working in the gallery. Beautiful art, beautiful people. I'm so glad we stopped to visit; we look forward to returning.

Love the Gallery. Waiting for delivery of two more pieces purchased this week which brings our total up to four. Only wish there was a look book or something where we could see the entire collection and order from there. But the canvas wraps are amazing.

I purchased the "Old Mekena Panorama" giclee as a triptych for around $2,500 a few years ago. With framing I spent over $3,000 total. The giclee canvas is now a cracked mess worth zero.... garbage food. When I contacted the gallery about the problem... they did not even respond. They responded to other emails I have sent... so I know they receive my emails. They are just ignoring me when I raise issues with their crap quality. The actual giclees probably cost the gallery less than $100 to print... but if you spend $3,000 on one... don't expect it to last... and don't expect the Curtist Cost gallery to care about you or stand by their work. They won't.

Staff is friendly. Located downstairs from the kula lodge restaurant. The steps aren't safe I felt like I was going to fall when I was walking down. But cute and small gallery. One of the ladies made conversation with us but the other one didn't say hi. We asked about the farrier painting. I guess the painting was sold. That's my dad so we wanted to see the painting. But they do have a 2018 calendar coming it with the farrier on it. So I might purchase that.

My love of upcountry Maui comes from my father being born and raised in the area. My life has always included a stop in the area. Jaquaranda trees with the purple rain showers over these rolling pastures and countryside. It exemplifies the beauty and peaceful life of this area, which has become known worldwide. As a frequent visitor of Maui, I was pleased to discover that the Kahului airport now features copies of Curtis's art, to welcome home locals and expose visitors to Upcountry Maui. A very unique and different area of the island. The main reason I purchased my first giclée here is that it is the view from my parents home. I purchased this Giclée over 26 years ago. Over the years, I've collected many other giclée's of Curtis Wilson Cost art. Why? They remind me of an area which I have spent many fond memories. His gallery is worth a stop, it feels comfortable and the staff never pushes you, they allow you to browse at your leisure. As a local person, I also feel they never judge whether you can afford these paintings, giclée or copies. Instead, they offer the art you are interested in, in all of the tiers that is comfortable for your budget. Additionally, custom framing is an option which I highly recommend. Curtis knows exactly what works well with the art he's created. I would not think of purchasing any piece without the recommending accent colors of matting or framework that he selects. It would not do your piece justice. If your a visitor, or just wish you could someday live in Maui No Ka Oi, what better way to take a memory home? They handle all your shipping needs.

I love Curtis Wilson Cost's art. He was our art teacher in elementary school and my appreciation has only grown. Since moving to the mainland, his art serves as a gentle reminder of where home truly is and as a calling to come back.
