Smells amazing beginning at the moment I exited the car. Huge selection of different donuts and fillings at good prices. JR was helpful, friendly, and gave us samples to try before buying. I'm so glad I decided to stop by, I certainly will be back.

***MAKE SURE TO BRING CASH!!!***Delicious Malasadas!! These Malasadas were made to order and so good! We went two days in a row and there was only one guy working, but he kicked out the donuts like there was no tomorrow! The little shop is located on the corner of a gas station, but it's pretty colorful and you can't miss it. I said it above, but will say it again, bring cash. The gas station has an ATM machine for a fee but be aware for those who can't get cash with their cards. Definitely recommend a stop here for some of the yummiest Malasadas!

We were driving by and saw this small food truck saying that they have world famous malasadas and that they were featured on the Food Network so I decided it was a place we HAD to stop and try! We ended up ordering the ube cheesecake, Bavarian crème, and lilikoi cheesecake malasadas with plain sugar. These were sooo good!! The malasadas are made to order so when we got them, they were super hot and fresh and the cream inside them were so delicious as well. I also loved the contrast of the cold cream with the hot dough. It is a bit on the pricey end because a pack of 3 malasadas costs $9, but I would still say they are still definitely worth a try and your taste buds will thank you. The store is moreso just a stand that is located in the corner of a gas station. Service was friendly and the person taking our order was really patient with us as we were deciding what to order and he gave us recommendations as to what is popular. There isn't much seating here as there's only one bench in front of the stand, so I'd say this is more of a grab and go type place.

Not worth the (long) wait time. Highly expensive donuts. Filling is minimal and taste is subpar.

Very expensive and even though we paid $20 for filling .. you couldn't tell the difference between the ones with or without filling. the photos and the menu are not accurate at all. We were there last Thursday night, the worker was not very excited about being there.

If you want the best donut malasadas come here. It's located a few blocks away from Front street and you can smell the goodness of the fried batter from the street.Basically you place your order by:1) choose quantity2) select type of sugar or no sugar3) choose fillings (optional)And it will be made fresh to order! We ended up choosing guava, ube and chocolate. All were hot out of the fryer and delicious. The only downside is that it can be a little pricy for such a small bite but we worth it in my opinion.

Happy to find this little donut shop on our way out of town to visit Hana. Setup is a bit confusing at first but we ordered and received food all from one window. There are two windows (one on each side) so some people started making a line on the other side before realizing that only one side was being used. There were so many choices but we decided to go simple and just get half a dozen coated in powdered sugar. The donuts were fresh and hot and looked delicious! They were a bit dense for our taste, but the kiddos didn't seem to mind at all! I would go back to try some of the fillings they have because I'm sure they would stand up to the density of the donuts here and probably be a delicious addition. However, I would say calling these malasadas is a stretch.

We got a flat tire on our rental while in Lahaina, and thankfully we got the spare on and made the shirt drive to Ed's Union Service, which is part of the gas station there in the corner. Ed was a nice guy, and helped us examine the tire and explained what happened with the patch on the tire and if it was something the rental car company overlooked, or just bad luck on the highway (it was the latter). A related note, the silver lining to needing car maintenance is that this station also happens to be where Manuela's Malasadas cart is, so fresh, hot malasadas while you wait is a nice consolation.
