I went into the Ka’anapali location looking to replace a goggles strap. They didn’t stock the item I needed, but the worker Roland searched the store and found an old pair in the back of the store and gave them to me free of charge. The customer ahead of me was asking about longboard and SUP spots, and he got really good and helpful advice. So helpful and kind, true spirit of Aloha. I am a Boss Frog’s customer for life as of right now.

I highly recommend getting quality traditional (not full face) snorkels while on Maui, and we really liked those we rented from Boss Frog’s. They made sure the gear fit well so we didn’t have any issues with flippers slipping off or leaking snorkels. They often have deals if you contact them directly.

We stopped here on our first day to rent some essentials. We were immediately greeted by Katie and she helped us get everything we needed. She’s amazing and super knowledgeable. Would recommend highly to anyone who wants to rent chairs, snorkel gear etc. purely based on our interactions with Katie. You rock girl! Thanks!!

Toan was awesome. He is very knowledgeable about the equipment and the best places for snorkeling. He took a lot of time with us and showed us on a map 5 of the best snorkeling locations on the Island. We give him a 5 star rating.

Who would have thought that the best part of our day would be renting snorkel gear from Toan. There were 8 of us and we showed up at 4:45...he fit each of us and we had so much fun. We highly recommend Boss Frogs! Great experience and a great deal!

I stopped by Boss Frog’s with my sister and nephews to pick up some snorkel gear. The gentleman (I can’t remember his name) was very friendly, helpful and thorough. Pricing was much more reasonable than resort rentals at just $10+ per day or $20+ per week. He even gave us a map of beaches to visit, informing us of the best time of day for each beach, based on the trade winds.
5-stars for Boss Frog’s!!!

My husband and I were there for booking a reservation for the helicopter ride but unfortunately our experience with the lady at the counter was disappointing. She was disrespectful and rude. Definitely not a good experience.

I think Boss Frogs is a great establishment, however think twice before renting their umbrellas. Is it even slightly windy? I was hoping to have nice shade while enjoying the beach, but instead anytime a gust came through (average for Hawaii standards) the umbrella would flip out like the photos. I’ve never experienced such a sensitive umbrella; felt like a waste of time/money. And yes, there were other umbrellas along the shore *not* doing this.

Best place on the island for snorkeling advice and rental equipment priced right! Also prime location for best snorkeling locations on Maui.
Toan expertly and patiently equipped our whole family for a wonderful day of snorkeling including a beach umbrella. All the equipment was in near new condition and sized to perfection. In addition we got great tips on best locations and multiple snorkeling tours.

Good gear and great staff. We did not do the boat tours but the beach access sites were amazing. We did 5 sets of gear for 4days and played everywhere.

Katie at Boss Frog's is AWESOME!!! We came in there and she had Leslie fitted within 5min so I could get her to tennis on time. I came back, and she took her time getting us setup with a two-site Snorkeling tour, and a "doors off" helicopter tour of Maui! There were two bucket list items we were able to complete, ALL BECAUSE OF KATIE!!! We cannot thank her enough! GO TO BOSS FROG AND NOWHERE ELSE!!!!
