Taking the Longs way home has always been apart of my day to day life. Being born & raised Maui. Lahaina town is where I went to school, worked, shopped or dined out. So no matter what the order, Longs has always been there for our community. As a kid I remember getting out of school. Waiting for my mom to get off from work. Just so we could do our daily Longs trip. She'd always keep an eye out for all the sales. While I ran up & down the aisles looking for sweets. Even at a young age, I learned pretty quick that whatever I choose had to have a sale tag next to it. Since my approval rate was definitely higher. Plus I got pretty good at my sales pitch too. I'd always point out the healthier ingredient. Like mom this one has almonds in it or they use dark chocolate instead of the more sugary options. It worked every time.Even to this day, my mom still does her daily Longs trip. She knows a ton of the Longs employees. Even if some don't know my mom personally they recognize her as a regular with her signature hairstyle & Miss Aloha personality. This is a routine she enjoys & will always look forward to picking up her Coors bottles, some fresh produce, checking out the stores current specials, finding items to use with her store coupons or even gifts. Not to forget to mention we always love checking out the holiday sections too.Shopping at our local Lahaina Longs is close to home. So you're bound to run into someone you know. It's always like a mini reunion running into an old friend or coworker. Plus we all have that one thing in common, we all enjoy the products & service Longs provides to each of us. Even if that means we have to wait in a long line. That just gives us the opportunity to catch up with friends & family.XOXO,ChelsieFletcher

Awesome store, Jamie in particular was so helpful, I called in need of a specific OTC medication that my dad was in need of while traveling. Jamie located exactly what I needed and even held it for me until I arrived at the store. She truly saved the day, on top of that she was very polite and courteous, thank you CVS and Jamie!

By far the best bar in Lahaina. Josh abs his team are amazing - very nice and generous. If you're staying around the hotels I highly recommend popping by

For Inter-Island Covid testers: DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION. I've tested numerous times through CVS Health but the ones in Hawaii play by different rules. You have to self pay and there is no such option on the website. (If there is, it's well hidden). I called to confirm on two occasions, noting I was traveling inter island and both people I spoke to said I was fine and booked properly. It wasn't until I showed up to the parking lot (it's not a drive thru as it states) that the snotty woman told me I didn't book it correctly and my husband's and my appointment was cancelled. She was so clueless that she actually recommended to cancel and rebook as if that's possible same day... appointments aren't available for DAYS. The other fun bonus - they say results take 2-4 days because they have to fly them to a lab on Oahu. So you have to test no more than 72 hours in advance, but CVS doesn't promise them until 96 hours post test. Be prepared to quarantine at your destination. Do yourself a favor - Go to Minit Medical. They are so much nicer and more informed. And their test turn time around is way faster.

It was not that long ago since this Longs (known as CVS outside of Hawaii) was redesigned, so I was surprised to see it had been redesigned again since the last time I was here a year ago. Previously there were a lot of tall shelves; for those of us on the short side or use wheelchairs or scooters, it was difficult to see around the store and reach some items. Now there is a mix of short and slightly taller shelves, making it easier to see the pharmacy which is at the back of the store. Also many more items are within reach. Things have been moved around, too, so you may need to reorient yourself if you've been here before. The store still carries a wide range of goods, aimed both at residents and tourists. That includes souvenirs. Longs comes out with a weekly ad each Sunday; it behooves you to check the sales before shopping. Copies of the ad are posted near all three entrances (two from the outside, one from inside the mall). In most cases, you can buy up to five (5) of any sale item at one time. Prices on Maui are not inexpensive, so many residents stock up and save. Note: If you need to buy decongestant that contains pseudoephedrine, you will have to go to the pharmacy. You must show ID and the amount you buy will be tracked electronically. This is true regardless of where you buy the medicine. There is abundant free parking, even during the holidays and when the evening luau across the street starts seating. A pretty fair amount of accessible parking with cutouts at each of the external entrances.

After visiting longs pharmacy and having the opportunity to talk to Amy face to face and as customer to pharmacist I humbly without any reservation recant all my previous opinions on Amy. You should never presume, say it's this when it is that, speculate or simply guess when it comes to commenting on an individual when you have never really interacted with just the distant informal eye contacts and the occasional customer pharmacist quick interactions. I without a doubt jumped to conclusions and could not have been more wrong about Amy. I learned a lesson and an important one. You should never shame any person like I unfortunately did w/o viable, real reasons. Amy and I had a great professional and personal conversation about my health and her profession as a pharmacist. I learned a lot from her and am so glad I can visit that pharmacy knowing they have great Pharamacy staff that are genuinely there to help and assist you.

Picked up my Medela breast pump yesterday at the pharmacy. They made it easy for me with no hassle. The store is coming together and it's looking good, bigger!

Pharmacy is good, but they are always out of the items I seem to need. Not just once in a while, but quite often. For a while, they didn't even have shopping baskets to carry your items in. Fortunately, the Longs on other islands like Oahu have been great.

Got to have a go to place where you can find most anything for a day on the beach or whatever. Longs is the easiest place to park and shop. It's central to most of what's going on this of Maui. They have enough ppl to offer help with the searching or advice where to find what your looking for.

In and out of here for 5 years - go as little as possible: Very dirty Horrible customer service (if you can even find someone) Incredible SLOW cashiers at registers. Most customers appear very frustrated w check out process. It's a joke... Limited selection of items. Not sure how they stay in business. Thank goodness there's a Walgreens close by! And on the mainland CVS is by far my favorite....just not Lahaina. Phone system is terrible. Restroom- none they will let you use. They send you to the mall and if mall is closed they send you to Safeway. Walgreens has a clean and open restroom...
