GungHo Sailing offers private snorkel, day, and sunset sails, as well as sailing lessons, for up to six people from Ma'alaea Harbor. It is a private sailing experience, not a shared catamaran trip. The local and highly skilled crew are awesome hosts, very good people, and gracious. They provide a lot of local insight about Maui, its history, and great restaurant recommendations. Guests describe an incredible, epic, and perfect experience, often the best or most enjoyable snorkel they have ever done, with beautiful fish, huge coral, and sea turtles. The crew ensures everyone feels very safe and comfortable, even accommodating disabilities. They share extensive knowledge of the island and water, diving to show creatures to hold. The trip includes amazing, fresh pineapple afterwards, called one of the best bites you'll ever experience. The crew also takes and airdrops great photos. We enjoyed our sail. They are very good people and we had a nice time talking with them. They have a lot of local insight about Maui and its history. If you want to sail and not just motor around on a catamaran this is where you want to go. You also do not have to share your sail with 20 other people you don't know.

The sunset sail that Keahi took us on, made for an epic evening for our family. He and Ali were awesome hosts! We learned alot about Hawaii and we thoroughly enjoyed our time with them! We highly recommend sailing with them!
