My first time to Maui and I booked 2 bedroom, 2 bath at the Kapalua Villas. Don't stay here. It is old, no management available, the condo had never be upgraded, dirty, old. Inept people working there that know nothing. We went the beginning of March 2023 for two weeks and were so disappointed. They have not recovered from Covid. I was paying $850 per night. A total rip off.

Company is refusing to refund our money for our planned stay within the next few weeks.

Great value! Condo was awesome and views fabulous. My only complaint is the front office staff is quite limited. This is more like an Airbnb than a resort.

Beautiful grounds, place a bit outdated but each one is different. Nice pools!

On site parking right in front of unit was nice. Spacious and for the most part a clean unit but the bill for fees we received were excessive and a surprise that came after the first day, close to $800. Part of that fee is for cleaning and maintenance yet the refrigerator was not cleaned thoroughly, the washer was disgusting and the dryer powered on but did not run, in fact the dryer broken seems had been for quite some time missing buttons and cracked. No dryer when rules include no hanging clothes on railings or chairs was not a good position to be in. We had 2 beach towels and 4 regular towels in a 6 person unit and one towel had brown spots. I do assume to be from previous guests hanging on chairs but I don't know and in any case should have been replaced. People really tried to steer me from this one, I just wish I had listened.

Be careful when booking with this resort, they will charge you resort fee for every day and mandatory cleaning fee per stay, the later is hidden from initial booking, and you wouldn't be notified until the day before your trip, and you have to stuck with the additional few hundreds. The view from the balcony is pretty stunning outside the resort room, very roomy and organized inside the rooms, big living room and bedroom, well equipped kitchen likely even more cooking tools than at your own home, two bathrooms, though carpet is gross and cockroaches found in bathroom and closet. There is ongoing construction in the unit nearby, very loud noise during the day.

8th time staying here since the 1990s, WOW has the Kapalua Villas management hit rock bottom. Check-in time is for only one hour between 4 and 5pm. "Welcome Pack" (which we kept being told we should consult for the info we were requesting which it supposedly contained) was never emailed, and when we arrived 5 minutes after 5pm, office was closed so never received anything from the management during our entire stay. Had to call security *(very nice man) to get a night service to call to get code for the unit door, as VRBO email said to contact local Kapalua Villas management for all entry and property information. Finally got door code info a hour later causing us to miss our dinner reservation. Entered unit, A/C broken and inside temp almost 90 degrees. Called Main office to report A/C outage for the WiFi login info, as the card in the room said to check the router for the login on the white sticker which didn't exist on the unit; office rep was very put off that we called, and rudely said we should have consulted our non-existent "WelcomePacK' for the info. Used towel and shampoo, with hair on bathroom floor meant someone had entered the unit and cleaned themselves up prior to our arrival. Went to use pool on last night, instead of key opening gate as usual during previous visits, there was instruction to use a "FOB" which we never received and unit key did not open gate; didn't use the pool as it wasn't worth the hassle to try and get access as it was once again past 5pm. At eaxctly 11A of last day, was greeted with a ring at the door from a staff person telling us to get out. Incredible, after all the problems with the resort. Needless to stay, will not be returning, which makes us ver sad. Please do not stay here. Property is still lovely, but unbelievable mismanagment by the current company makes staying here a nightmare so should be avoided at all costs.

Kitchen supplies lacking; beach chairs a bonus as was beach parking included with villas permit. Pools near me were nothing like the one pictured but that were fine. It was possible to walk (hike?) to one or two restaurants. We didn't try the villas shuttle which we probably should, and would in the future.

Gorgeous views and private villas away from the hustle and bustle! My friend's mum loves to stay here whenever on the island - and I have been blessed to stay with them here on a number of occasions. Each unit has its own giant patio for enjoying those beautiful breakfasts and tradewinds in the afternoons. There are also grills down by the pool. There is a convenient shuttle you can call that will come pick you up and drop you at the beach, convenience store, or restaurants in the area. This is an idyllic place to spend a relaxing time and feel like you're up amongst the trees and clouds.

Villas have all required amenities for a family with kids .Checkin was easy , was offered a poolside villa - thank you front office staff .Villa was kept near and clean, stayed for a week. Balcony views are amazing- easily can spend time looking at ocean waves , sunset and changing colours.

Unreachable staff made it difficult to check in. So what no one tells you is that there's only check-in available from 9:00 to 5:00 p.m. if you arrive after these hours, you have to contact a third party to check in. There was no way of knowing this until we just called security to ask what we should do after driving around the complex for about 30 minutes. The third party did their best. But had very limited knowledge of the resort, so couldn't tell you exactly how to get to our unit or any of the amenities of the area. They can only tell you how to get a key and then advise you to call the front desk when the front desk is open. Super disappointed so far in this rather expensive resort.

The views of Kapalua Villas in Lahaina was breathtaking. Our stunning two bedroom, two bath condo overlooked PGA's world premiere golf course. Definitely a golf resort in Maui that will not disappoint your vacation dreams.

Absolutely loved our time here! The villa was the perfect way to go for our family of 6. We started in 27B2 and felt like we were right in the water. There are two beaches within easy walking distance, even for the young kids.
