Service here is WEIRD, we had an unsavory encounter with a store employee who was the least helpful in our interaction. She felt the need to patronize my husband and I when we asked about the first responders discount. I recently learned about it when chatting with a friend whose sister is an EMT. I came in to buy a pair of shorts and she said he is unable to purchase gifts for friends. GIRL, IM HIS WIFE. And proceeded to tell us it was an abuse of the discount of “15%” and that Lulu would revoke the discount. We said. Okay, great and left.

My husband and I went into the whalers village location today and made a purchase. The guy who checked us out said they were running low on bags and that we had to carry our purchase. My husband went back inside since we wanted to walk around and politely asked for a bag. He grabbed a large bag, then decided he wasn’t going to give him one because they were running low. He told us to go buy something at the ABC store if we wanted a bag. I saw plenty of people walking around with a big bag. I’m a PAYING customer and you’re refusing to give me one bag, ridiculous. We will never be back at this location due to their non existent customer service.

Disappointed by the Service at Lululemon Whalers Village and Shops at Wailea
I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but I feel compelled to share this experience in hopes it leads to improvement. My wife purchased a Maui-printed sweatshirt from one of the Lululemon locations here. Unfortunately, the medium was too small, and I’ve been trying to exchange it for a large.
Over the past several days, I’ve called both the Whalers Village and Shops at Wailea stores multiple times, only to be told that inventory is random and that I should keep checking in person. I’ve spent the last three days driving back and forth between the two stores—an extremely frustrating experience on what’s supposed to be a relaxing vacation.
On Friday, the Wailea store confirmed they had the sweatshirt I needed in the back room, but couldn’t access it because the air conditioning was down. When I returned at 7 PM, I was again told they couldn’t help me and to call back the next morning. I’ve tried several times since, but no one is answering the phone.
This entire situation could have been solved so easily with a bit of effort or follow-through from the staff. It’s disappointing to end my trip on this note and even more frustrating to feel like my time and effort were dismissed. I hope the district manager sees this and takes action to improve the customer experience.

Terrible Customer Service and Arrogance at Lululemon Lahaina
I recently had a shockingly bad experience at the Lululemon Lahaina location, which has compelled me to write this scathing review. During my honeymoon, I purchased a special Maui shirt, shorts, and several other items. Unfortunately, the shirt was damaged by olive oil. Given its sentimental value, I called the store to buy a new one. However, my encounter with the so-called "Educator" was nothing short of infuriating.
Despite explaining the situation and expressing the sentimental significance of the shirt, the "Educator" couldn't care less. She outright refused to ask her manager to make an exception or offer any assistance, demonstrating zero customer service skills and zero empathy. The arrogance displayed was astonishing.
To add insult to injury, when I called back to get her name for this review, another "Educator" refused to provide it. This speaks volumes about the lack of transparency and accountability at this location.
I even offered to send pictures of the ruined shirt and the receipt, but they were uninterested and dismissive. Would have gladly paid full price for a new shirt. Did not want my money back at all. All they seemed to care about were their precious "rules." No wonder the company's stock is struggling.
In conclusion, stay away from the Lululemon Lahaina location. The arrogance is off the charts, and they desperately need education on basic customer service principles. This was deeply disappointing. I'm a customer who spends a lot of $$$ is your stores --- NO MORE.

I love Lululemon clothes. The manager Steven who works at the Kaanapali Whalers Village store is not great with customers. I encourage him to be kind, patient and compassionate. A little bit of training can m customer service would benefit him. Mahalo.

Service sucks. People are cold and rude. It felt like I couldn't even ask a question without sass and attitude. A Latina girl walked in and she was being eyed the whole time, I felt bad for her. I heard her leaving the store staying how uncomfortable she felt.

My wife is born and raised in Maui. She grabbed 5 items and went to the dressing room to try on her clothes. The employees did not even acknowledge her. But they greeted four white ladies with one item in their hands and welcomed them with open arms into the dressing rooms. All of the older employees have horrible customer service and discriminate if you don't look white or look like you're rich. There's a reason why they're old and still working in retail. Every person should be treated equal. Especially Hawaiian locals.

Pretty normal Lululemon store in the upscale Whaler's Village mall on the west side of Maui. A few unique Hawaii items that aren't sold elsewhere, but otherwise just a normal store.

As someone that has worked for customer service for 8+ years, some of the employees don't know what that is. Walked in and cashier lady; tall and wears glasses about in her 60s made eye contact but did not greet. Another party walked in just 10 seconds after us and guess what we heard? "Hi welcome!" Terrible terrible customer service! First impressions make everything.
