Loved the pools, hot tubs, beach, clear water, snorkeling (walk to black rock section of kaanapali beach) easy walk to whalers villiage for shops and restaurants . Loved monkey pod and hula grill. At resort we had one rude server by pools but the other people working there are wonderful . Loved the pool attendant manager who made sure people didn’t hog a pool chair all day if they weren’t even there (he removes towels after 2 hours approx, if people don’t return to their chairs to free of chairs for everyone ! I highly recommend this resort . You’ll love it! Great for kids

Because they Hyatt is part of the Timeshare presentation I allocated my 2 hours of my day to consideration of a time share… I reserve a lot of my consideration but are you kidding….$ 220. For the Drums of Pacific Luau. The performers great and the server wonderful… but really … the food half par… the food at this level per person in the rain…. Wearing plastic standing in line in the rain… Don’t know this is where I wanna spend my hard earned money. Very dissatisfied.

The pools are unacceptably cold. They're all but empty, not sure why but I came here to escape the cold only to watch my kids shiver and only able to be in the pool 10 minutes at time.

I'm hoping this review get's seen by many and corporate. This was the worst experience I have ever encountered in a Resort. The quality of service and what you get in return is not worth it. Let me start by just stating when I showed up for checking in. I have never ever felt racially profiled, until I went to this Resort. People in front of me were being treated with such great hospitality, smiling at them, educating them on all the perks the resort had. Then here I come to the front. The guys name was Jonathan. the first thing he tells me is, "I'm not ready". I said no problem, stood there and waited. We proceeded to checking in. I was being rushed, talked down on, was not explained anything about the benefits of the resort. i got an attitude and my key cards thrown at me. I got a deal through customer care and he did not want to honor it and said to me "This is to expensive for you, you can call care and pay through them then i will check you in". I kept is as professional as I could and responded just get me a room and charge whatever you need. It was such a horrible experience to start with and on my wife's birthday. My wife wanted to leave but i stuck it out and proceeded as the travel was long. The room, the room smelled nasty, the cabinets on the inside full of dust. The staff, rude, arrogant, when I would walk and pass the front desk, no good morning or any type of greet. I asked for some towels, they told me they would deliver me some, never came. I felt as though i was being treated different just because my ethnicity was different. The last night i stayed was the worst. i woke up in the middle of the night because my wife was telling me she felt uncomfortable and itchy. I didn't pay to much attention to what she said, and here we go. Maybe an hour later i see small black critters jumping. I woke up with bites on my arms. I was really upset and left early in the morning. That was incredibly uncomfortable and nasty. This was the worst experience and i hope they don't treat customers like they treated me. As well as check the rooms well, because you might find insects. Will never recommend to anyone.

Alright, I typically only leave reviews on here when it’s positive. I try not to be “that guy”. As a matter of fact I left a review for this resort 6 years ago that was 5 stars (and I just deleted it). We’ve been coming here for 20 years, every year. Here’s the deal:This place used to be fantastic. Marriott invested heavily in the property and it showed. Things changed starting in 2020 with COVID and they haven’t improved. In fact, it’s gotten worse. They keep increasing ownership fees exponentially. I’m not talking about the cost of living at 5%. I mean 40% over 4 years. What do you get for this? Well, you get elevators that don’t work, shampoo bottles welded to the shower wall, pool waterfalls that don’t work, towel huts that are unstaffed because “we don’t have any staff”, $100 covered chair rentals that come without service and an expectation of tipping for everything. The guy that sat us down in our $100 chair then told us our daughter may not sit with us because there are no other chairs allowed to be here, had a tip line on the form he had us sign. It’s bonkers. This place is in a great spot. The staff are mostly great but there are some that are downright rude. They are more aggressive than the other chains when it comes to charging for everything. They keep reducing service and amenities. Please do your research on the properties around the Marriott ocean club as I’m certain, for the same or less money, you can do better. We won’t be back after 20 years of this being our Maui home. ✌️

I was overwhelmed by the stable quality of the service and the quality of the users. Mineral water service is also available, and plastic bottles are available 24 hours a day. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the rooms are stocked with silverware (forks, knives, spoons, etc.), so I feel this is a resort recommended for long-term stays.Rooms: The room was spacious and comfortable. It can also be used as a connected room, so it would be possible for two families to go together.

I wish I could back! I LOVE HAWAII!!!!!!!!! I had so much fun. The pools are so awesome and a lot of them connect so you can just swim all over. Super close to the ocean and beach which is tons of fun. One girl stepped on a sea urchin which is dumb because sea urchins are everywhere, however, the hotel was very helpful and accommodating to her even though it was her fault. They had a medical team out there ready to go and help. The room has an out of this world view. Man I wish I was back in hawaii right now after writing this.
