West Maui grown coffee, located right on the main road, too convenient for early morning grab & go. A super cool vibe with local owned & operated people. Yessah this is one highly recommended coffee cafe!

THE best coffee and service on Maui! The staff are kind, friendly, and attentive. The girls in the store are knowledgeable about their coffee, and the beans aren't over roasted. Ambiance is retro Hawaiian and sets to mood nicely.

Excellent coffee, breakfast, and customer service! We had the bacon, egg, and cheese croissant and a Hawaiian honey latte and they were both delicious! The egg was cooked perfectly - which is a big plus for me. The employees were so sweet and welcoming! While it seems to be a popular to-go spot, there is seating available and we had a great time eating in.

Very good breakfast sandwich (add the fried egg) and excellent Hawaiian honey Latte. The two women were so nice and had great reggae tunes going! Perfect place for a Monday morning coffee and breakfast, and to pick up a souvenir! My girlfriend was obsessed with their coffee mug options.

We were visiting Maui from Las Vegas and really wanted to support local business' during our stay. We drove past a few other big chain coffee shops to go to Island Press Coffee and were thrilled we did. The cold brew was delicious! Definitely recommend the Naughty Cold Brew The staff was so kind and patient with us while reviewing the menu and gave great recommendations. (Don't skip on the ham/cheese croissant)

We chose this spot because it was local and nearby in Kaanapali. We will never be going back and wouldn't recommend to anyone. We are in the service industry and had high hopes for this place. They have a great amount of options, a small seemingly good selection of breakfast items, and inside is pretty organized and comfortable. The thing they lacked was simply kindness. The two baristas were AWFUL to my boyfriend and I. All we ordered was an decaf oat milk cortado w caramel, and an oat milk mocha. My cortado first came out not decaf. When I asked, I was met with a sour no in response, 0 eye contact, not a single smile, apology, or response. When my decaf cortado came out, I couldn't smell/taste any caramel so I asked if there was some and if not can I get more. The barista continued to AGGRESSIVELY pump caramel into my coffee... 3+ pumps. We have never experienced such awful service! Really disappointed as this was our first coffee shop experience in Maui.

Coffee has been delicious every time that we've stopped by this trip. Staff have been super friendly and quick to complete our orders. The hubs loved the Hawaiian honey latte and the Mac nut latte was delicious. Today we grabbed a coconut macadamia nut latte with coconut milk and it was perfect!

A little spendy per cup, but super friendly service. I'm typically a latte or black coffee drinker, but the roast is a bit dark/bitter for my liking. My husband feels differently and is a huge fan of their iced mocha.

As is unfortunately the case for too many of our brothers and sisters in Maui, employees of Island Press lost their homes, belongings, and livelihoods in the fire. I'm hoping that they will be reopening after the voluntary travel restriction for West Maui is lifted on October 17, if not before. If so, and if you're visiting Kaanapali or the adjacent area, please come and give your support (and money!) to IPC. BTW, my 5-star rating isn't out of sympathy. I've been there probably over 100 times over the years, and the drinks, food, and service from Ken, Taryn, Bertha, and April is always the best.

after trying 5 coffee spots. finally dark roast coffee that's not watered down . . . yea!! this place is the spot for people who appreciate good coffee. locals working the counter are all nice. coffee is great and it's a cute little spot to boot. only downside is no internet which i'd think is a must for coffee shops nowadays. bonus, easy access off the main hwy as well

Service was rude here. Waited 10 minutes for a toasted crosant sandwich and when I asked why it was taking so long the lady scoffed and said it takes time. I said geez and then she scoffed amd mocked my to th other lady working there. I asked her if she enjoyed her laugh and then she started yo get offended and yelled at me to just leave. I enjoyed this place other mornings with different staff. Do not recommend at all!

Good coffee. The spot in the whalers village (island vintage) is also highly rated but is worse than charbucks, so I'm glad I found this place. Coffee is nice and smooth, not overly bitter and astringent like the other tourist trap spot. Ladies are super friendly as well and they also have good food. Def coming back.......every morning

Really good coffee. Def a Kona dark roast for the espresso. Super earthy and nutty. I am used to a much more third wave esque coffee. Latte was a little too hot which brought a more traditional Italian espresso taste forward but once cooled a slight bit the flavors really came out more and I was able to enjoy it. Only place in kaanapali that I have tried that didn't have just Starbucks burnt flavor. I am not a big earthy notes fan but wife is and loved it
