The food was good and the entertainment was great! The only issues were the line to get in and the heat. You had to stand in a very long line and for people with mobility issues, that is a problem. Also, you are sitting in the sun the whole time. Very hot. I would suggest a few fans to circulate the air.

We’ve been to other luaus and each one is different. Everything at this buffet here was surprisingly delicious and entertainment was, well, entertaining! The MC (Maui local) reminded me of Frosty the Snowman in the vintage Rudolf the Raindeer cartoon. The only gripe was that there is only 2 stalls in the women’s bathroom!

Great luau experience for the whole family. Preferred seating was definitely worth it in my opinion. Best luau I've seen so far and kept my 8 and 5 yo entertained too.Dietary restrictions: They were able to accommodate for a peanut allergy in our partyParking: Free parking with validation

Recently attended the Maui Nui Luau in late June 2023. My significant other and I thoroughly enjoyed this event. The check-in process was very easy (the long line moved fast) and we were seated in a table that was close to the front (you don’t have a choice in this, it’s random). The drinks were bottomless and had plenty of options. There were two different types of alcoholic drinks and plenty of water, coffee, juice. The food was delicious and consisted of traditional Hawaiian cuisine. The plates are big enough to get just about everything from the buffet on your first time through. The entertainment (Story and dancing) were done well. This consisted of a storyline that walked through the history of Hawaii + associated dancing. The entire event was about 3 hours and ended around 8:30. The only downside is that you have to leave the venue every time to go to the bathroom, so plan accordingly. Great experience and would definitely come back!

A nice buffet style luau. We appreciated the assigned seating. There was something for everyone. We had 3 teens and 2 pre-teens with us, this was their first luau and they loved it. A favorite was the fire dancers.

Arrived and found that the table was based on order of reservation. That I completely agree with, except that means that all of the tour groups get to sit up front. Did not get to see much from the back forty, actually table 41. Didn't get a good view of the cliff jump either. By the time we got our food, the show was about to start, so there was little to no opportunity for a second helping. The beverage lines took forever as there were only two people serving the alcoholic beverages for the crowd. I was expecting a feast, and it was underwhelming. The show itself, from what I could see, was good. Every time someone in the first rows of tables got up, they walked right through your line of sight. I think that they need to do stepped rows to prevent this. People in their hotel rooms had a better view than us.All in all, it was a disappointing experience. Maybe if I booked a year in advance or if I was part of a tour, it would have been better. I think to book it on the website as a couple or family, you are destined for the land of binoculars.

We just got back from the Luau (Monday night, light attendance) and I gotta tell you, it was really entertaining. The food was good (a little bit of all sorts of flavors). Is there better food on the island? Of course, but this is a HOTEL luau we’re talking about here. We booked last minute and this is what was available. It’s overpriced, yeah, but we were kind of stuck with a timeframe. It’s not a total waste of money. They can’t please everyone, so go with a positive attitude and don’t expect a gold platter because you overpaid. If you don’t have fun then it’s your own fault really. The fish was and mac/potato salad were meh, but everything else had good flavor. The drinks we had were not watered down, and we got a little tipsy even. If you’re a regular heavy drinker then they’re probably too light for you. They are unlimited, so drink up if you’re trying to get hammered at a family show. Dessert was pretty terrible, to be honest. The show really was spectacular. The men and women were all so funny and talented, my goodness can they dance. We all received leis upon entry right around 505pm. We received a text saying to show up at 5:10, and I’m glad we didn’t listen. We got there at 4:45 and got a decent place in line. You are assigned a table beforehand, but it was nice to pick the seat at the table early. We were at table 25 and pretty close to the stage. Sound was great. A light music show started pretty promptly, maybe a half hour in, and it continued constantly throughout the night with a few 10 minute breaks. Food was opened around 6 and it went pretty smoothly. You can keep going back as late as 715pm is what we were told. The fire portion of the show started at 7pm and was an hour long. Great show.We did get to see the cliff diver and that was fun! The sunset was great. We walked from across the street so we didn’t get stuck in parking traffic.Pros: Great location. Pretty leis. Good food. Open bar with vodka, rum, bourbon, gin, and wines. Plus pre-made piña coladas and mai tais. Employees were really nice and funny.Cons: Overpriced. No shade while the sun is up and hot. Professional pics are before leis are handed out.Tips:Don’t be a Karen and don’t expect to get what you paid for. It’s a corporate hotel chain Luau so they’re trying to make money off of tourists. Don’t go if you’re one who usually complains.Sunscreen for sure!Line up earlyish. If you’re in a group or a couple, have one person grab drinks while the other gets escorted to the table to “reserve” seats so you skip the line.Go stand near the beach close to sunset to see the diver.Run up to the dancers right afterwards to take pics with them!

Fun time & good food! The show is good, but book EARLY so you’re seated closer to the front. The decor being white linen table clothes & basic backyard plastic chairs is the main reason this isn’t a 5 star one for me. Honestly, if it had more of the Hawaiin / Luau theme, it would’ve made a big difference. The space packed so tight with cheap chairs & white tables takes you out of the experience. There’s also no signage to tell you where to go when you arrive at the hotel, so it took a little bit of wandering to figure that out.The show is good, but like I said, if you don’t book early, you’ll be so far away it won’t feel like you’re in it. Generous amounts of good food, but it’s a good while until you get to hit the buffet.

So incredible! I am very impressed with the show and how well the Hostess guided us through the history of how they came to the Hawaiian Islands. I was also so impressed with the staff and how humorous and entertaining they were. The food was incredible, there was an open bar with plenty of choices, and the views were unreal! The resort we were hosted at was truly breathtaking. Worth the money 100 percent in my eyes. Book it!Dietary restrictions: We had a woman on our table that had a dietary restriction that they had noted beforehand and they confirmed it with her to ensure she was okay and taken care of.Parking: Valet parking includedKid-friendliness: There were a bunch of children around and they were entertained the whole show.

It was awesome. This was our third time at the Sheraton luau, and it just confirms that this is the best luau in Maui. The dancers were top notch, and the MC was both funny and informative. A must do experience.

Great Evening! Perfect environment to learn about Polynesian culture through the Luau experience. Talented musicians and dancers made it even more enjoyable. Also, the food was great too. This was definitely one of the highlights from our visit to Maui.

The Luau itself was incredible. Great food and spectacular show. However, it took us HALF AN HOUR to get out of the parking lot afterwards because everyone had to pay $2 dollars as they left. It's kind of ridiculous that everyone has to pay for parking after spending $188 at the Luau.

Great vibes. If you're going to do Hawaii, it's not a must but definitely worth to experience a least once. A little history, good food and fun entertainment. Bring your Aloha shirt to dive into full tourist mode Haha.

Fun experience! Good food. Made friends with the people sitting at the same table with us.
