I myself don't wear Bikinis, but my wife does and she normally drags me into Pakaloha Bikinis to get an honest opinion on how her bathing suits looks before purchasing. I must say the staff is always kind and willing to assist my wife in trying on numerous bikinis. We have always felt welcome when entering the establishment and I must say they really have a huge assortment of very high quality bikinis, suits and tops many of which can be worn by mix matching such an assortment of beautiful patterns and colors. We always recommend Pakaloha to all our friends.

WOW!! Best swimwear store I have EVER been in! Ali was so kind and helped me find the right size and style and was so accommodating!! They have tons of options and the prices are very reasonable for the quality and how good the fit is! Now that I know my sizes I’ll definitely be ordering more suits from online!

I've been wanting a Pakaloha bikini ever since I visited Maui in 2016, but haven't gotten around to ordering one until now.I was so excited because they have beautiful bikinis, I love supporting small businesses, they have such great reviews, and they were highly recommended during my 2016 visit.Their website is so happy, bright and welcoming.My experience so far has been less than great..I ordered a bikini a couple of weeks ago online it's not fitting the way I like so I'm wanting to exchange for a different size/style.I wasn't clearly understanding a part of the returns/exchange policy, so I sent an email asking what the exchange policy is. I got a flat "the exchange/return policy is on our website." I replied, saying that I had already read through the policy but wasn't sure where to get a return label and to inform them that on the bottoms I received and need to exchange, did not come with a sanitary liner. The liner is needed for the exchange. I didn't receive another response for 3 days. The response I received again said, "The return/exchange policy is on the website. " Then went on to say that they don't provide return labels, I have to buy it myself. I've never had to purchase a return label myself, but I guess they do that because it's a small business.(?) The reply was so flat and dry I felt the need to apologize for being made to feel like an inconvenience for my questions. My question about the bottoms not coming with a sanitary liner was not addressed so I said again, "The bottoms I received did not come with a liner, as stated in your exchange/return instructions. I hope this won't be an issue with the exchange."The response I received didn't acknowledge my apology, and asked if this was a sale item. Their sale items, from my understanding from the email i received, don't have sanitary liners (why not?) but all full priced items do. If I tried the bottoms on, which I did with underwear, to make sure there's no stains or marks. If there is stains/marks, they will not exchange them.I FULLY understand the stain/mark policy, so items should be double or even triple checked for this liner before being shipped out to a customer who may need to return/exchange the item.I replied saying that the items I purchased were full price and sent a screenshot of my order with the email. I also said that they may want to check the rest of their stock to ensure they all have liners so no one else ends up in my situation.So far no reply that, from yesterday morning.I'm just overall disappointed in their customer service. I've read through their reviews and most customers rave about how helpful the employees are, even through online sales, in making sure you're happy and comfortable with your purchase. I feel none of that.. I felt the need to apologize to the person I've been emailing with, and the apology went unacknowledged. I feel like I've just gotten flat, cold replies.Going to give it another shot, hopefully I can end up with a nice fitting product in the end.Will update with final thoughts when I receive the new items.

Big, big selection. No pressure tactics. Treated my wife with knowledge and support for a decision which is not for her husband (me) to make. However, she did get her to push the boundaries of her modesty to have a great time in Hawaii. Think young, stay young, have fun.

Ali is simply awesome in every way. My lovely wife like most women struggles when buying bikinis of any type. Ali knowledge of what would compliment her great figure enabled her to try on suits that she normally not have even wanted to look out. As a result of Ali's passion for finding the perfect fit, we ended up purchasing two bikinis which my wife not only looks great in but is also comfortable wearing. Can't recommend Ali and Pakaloha enough, definitely the place to shop for bikinis when in Maui! Aloha!!

I have been shopping with Pakaloha for almost 10 years and this was my first time inside the store in Lahaina. Ali was so helping with showing me the different styles of bikinis and helping me find my favorite style. These are by far the comfiest thing you could put on to spend the day at the beach or laying in the sun! Next time I’m on the island, going in to Pakaloha will be my first stop!?

I can't say enough about what a positive experience it was to bikini shop at Pakaloha. I had set a goal for myself to "rock a bikini" by the time I turn 60 in 2023. I honestly can't remember the last time I went bikini shopping. But Chyan made this such a positive, empowering, and totally fun experience. She was the ultimate "personal shopper," asking me all about my top and bottom sizes, styles as well as my comfort level about body coverage. i was super stoked to wear this bikini i bought for about $105, which was totally fine because it was a small business and the actual fabric was good quality. The girl i talked to spoke very highly about these bikinis and that they would last forever. I wore it for the first time longboarding in small waves and noticed the seams already starting coming apart. I thought it was good and was going to hold, since i was told they last so long. I wore it about 2-3 more times in the same conditions and the bottom seam on the bottoms almost completely came off on the front and i can already tell the seam is starting to give way on my top. i'm just super disappointed because i have way cheaper bikinis that have lasted so much longer. I also had my friend go in and explain my situation to see if they just do seam repairs, especially since i only wore it a few times and already had an issue. She told me she was offered no solutions and was just told it was final sale and there's nothing we can do. The quality of the bikinis are still great the seams are just super weak. I won't be buying again due to that issue.

I was visiting Maui and drove an extra 20min to find this awesome store. Danyelle was so sweet and very helpful when it came to finding the right fit. My dad even got a hat and towel! The perfect store for anybody. The bikinis fit amazing and I can't wait to show it off!

Ever since I gave birth to my first child, being in a bathing suit was almost always a humiliating, depressing, invalidating experience. My boobs changed to a much bigger size and finding the best, most flattering fit was impossible. I even paid a ton of money to have a custom swimsuit made to my measurements which was just them giving me one of they're already pre-made styles and sizes. It ended up not even fitting and I was aware of what a pain I was to the company at that point. I went from loving the water to avoiding it. I stumbled upon Pakaloha randomly while walking around downtown Lahaina and was instantly greeted by Chyan. She engaged with me instantly asking me questions about what I was looking for. She was easy to talk with and I felt safe and supported in her presence. After about 20 min I had found 2 perfectly fitting baiting suits that look great on, and I could even surf in. Thank You Chyan for taking the time with me to find these and help get me back to enjoying the ocean and not feeling so awkward.

I usually have a really hard time buying bikinis due to my large bust size but Danyelle helped me find three bikinis that I and my husband loved. amazing service and butter soft bikinis. I highly recommend stopping by early in your trip to Maui!
