It's gas. Posting a 2 for 2 reasons 1) I wish they Answered their phones. 2) I wish the car wash, which is the only one in Lahaina was open regularly. Thank you for being open!

Vacuum is near useless. Needed air as well but the cashier would only give me $3 in quarters to use their "service". Barely spoke English. I don't need to deal with bad attitudes and nonsense when I'm spending money. Fire the lot of them and start over.

Local review!Avoid this station. They have equipment that is out of service, and make no attempt to restore it. West Maui needs a car wash, and this station could care less. Rude staff only help the problem. To Shell customer care. From the other replies you have posted. Your involvement means nothing. This station seems to be a direct reflection of the establishments that shell with put their name on.

We specifically came for the vacuum but it's still out of order.

This place is worn down. Went here to get the car washed and vacuumed before returning it. Out of order and vacc not strong enough to get beach sand. Look elsewhere if you want to get a wash/vacuum

We stopped at this Shell station ("West Maui Shell") to fill up our Turo minivan when headed from Lahaina to Haiku-Pauwela via Honoapi'ilani Highway (Hawaii Route 30) and Hana Highway (The Road to Hana). This Shell is conveniently located next to a large shopping center that has a Foodland Farms grocery store and across the street from Lahaina Cannery Mall, which has a Safeway, CVS, and Starbucks. There's also a Walgreens on the other side of the Foodland Farms shopping center. We shopped there a lot for groceries while staying in nearby Ka'anapali. This Shell is on an awkwardly-shaped plot of land accessible via Kapunakea St only. Maneuvering is tight. They managed to fit 10 gas pumps onto the lot. We filled up at Pump 1 and paid $4.39 per gallon for regular unleaded. To give you an idea of how that price compared to other prices I paid for gas around the same time on the mainland, I paid $4.10 and $4.06 per gallon for *premium* unleaded before and after our trip to Maui, respectively, at a Shell station in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Generally speaking, at the time of writing this review, Hawaii has the second-highest gas prices in the US on average, by a significant margin. Hawaii is topped only by California for having the most expensive gas in the country. Aloha Island Mart is the convenience store chain on-site. Aloha Island Mart is a brand of Honolulu-based Aloha Petroleum. Aloha Petroleum is a subsidiary of Sunoco. This gas station was OK. I'd fill up here again. The best thing about this place is its view of the West Maui Mountains in the distance. This Shell station has the best view of any Shell station I've been to, that I can recall.

Pricey gas compared to back home. Made a stop to fill up on the way to Haleakala. Nothing fancy. The parking lot/pump area isn't huge so if there are a ton of cars it can get tricky.

Our rental car's carpet was dirty due to all of the stops we made at the trails and beaches. They have two mega vacuums at this station and it only costs $1.50 to use them. The gas is expensive but I filled up anyways.

Some of the worst service I have ever received on the island, stopped spending my money there. Workers are rude, it's like trying to pull teeth from a tiger to get service through the drive through. My last two visits I got yelled at for asking if they have received a product that they ran out of. Stay away from the old lady. So I go to Safeway in kahului. Better service, no mean mugging, cheaper prices

This is why businesses fail in Maui. It’s always been an inconsistent spot that looks like it’s in the verge of closing many times over the years. The main and only reason I use this gas station was because it has one of the only two car washes on the west side. Now they decide to close the car wash whenever the hell they feel like it. If you are going to decide to close it at all... at least have consistent hours. I waited 10 min in line to find out the car wash attendant decided to close 20 min early because he wanted to leave. Last time for me.

So, my friend has never had a manapua ... I don't have a car, I finally got someone to give me a ride to go get her a manapua ... after weeks of taking about it. We get to your shop the one with the big sign that says local food cooked fresh till 1am... it was around 3pm , and there were no manapua, or pork hash not even a hot dog. My friend is home now and never got to try my favorite local Snack. So sad because I have had them there before and they were yummy... too bad I can't buy them anymore there. You should take down your sign.
