Other than the funky hours, the Post Office in Laie has become SO MUCH BETTER than it was years ago. The staff is super kind and helpful.

I see all the bad reviews but I’ve gone here a lot of times and the workers are so nice. The one thing I don’t like is their hours, they’re not open for very long

Other reviews must be based on someone who no longer works here or wasn’t working today because the lady who helped me today was fantastic. Great service and very friendly.

I live in Honolulu. This is the fifth time this year my package was mistakenly sent by USPS to Laie on the other side of the island. Why I do not know but it's a big inconvenience as I have to wait several days for the tiny Laie Post Office to sort it once received and then send it back to town. Why does this constantly happen? What's happening at the regional Post Office and why is Laie so slow to get it right and send back to town?

This was some time ago, that I went with my friend to get her passport stuff done. We took all possible documents that we thought would be needed for the process. Got there and they said we needed to fill out this and that. We did exactly what they told us to do. nek-minute, she said that we needed to come back because they were gonna go for an hour break. We respected their work hours and decided to go on the next day. Went back, another lady was kind enough and actually did her job. She helped my friend understood what she needed to do to get her package delivered. My friend needed to get some other stuff to finish the process. Walked home, got everything we were told to get, walked back to the post office in the sun and completed everything. We're college students and we don't know how things work in the post office. At least smile and engage more with customers. Like, help us understand & confirm if we got everything we need before we leave so when we come back we have everything. Be considerate of people's time.

the post master there is an awful woman. they send half my mail back including checks to my company that I need so I can keep the doors open. something must be done. official complaints get you no where

What a waste of my time. Super rude customer service. The way he talked to me, no aloha at all. Came to process passport application for my 3 kids and I. Ended up doing just one application for my son. Surprised a post office don’t have a copy machine, but my fault I didn’t know you needed a copy of ID for each child. Weird how even though you give a copy of your ID they still ask for your actual ID. I couldn’t do my application cause the rude man couldn’t find my License and blamed me for misplacing. I’m a very organized person especially when it comes to these kinds of things. I spent a good 30 minutes looking around. I drove home without a licensed . couple days laters my license was mailed to me from Laie Post Office with no apology . Shut this place down!!!they obviously hate what they do.

Man was very rude and unwelcoming. Before leaving I noticed I didn't have my drivers license. He insisted he gave it back (when it comes to these kinds of things I never lose anything, I never have) . A week later my drivers license was mailed back to me from Laie Post office
