Love this family own Market on the Island of Lana'i with 3000 residents. Pine Isle Market is a general store you can find fishing supplies, small household appliances besides groceries.

This is another Market on Lanai which is located not far from Richards Market and Dole park which is located across the street. It's a small mom & pop store which carries a lot of local items that is more basic like milk, eggs, some fishing supplies, liquor and essential as Richards carries some of the similar items but they also carry fresh imported oysters, marinated meats, meats, poke section. Both markets have enough customers that go to support both Markets.

It's an old style family owned grocery store. I go shop here before I go to the fancy updated store.

Nice grocery store, not as clean or as well stocked, but a good option for grocery items. Nice to have options for shopping in such a small town. This is more of an Asian foods type market.

One of three grocery stores on Lāna'i. Pine Isle offers a little bit of everything from cat food to hair dye to fishing tackle and camping gear. They've expanded their grocery section to include healthy, organic snacks. None of the grocery stores are well stocked. Sometimes you need to visit all three stores to pick up all of the ingredients for a single recipe.

This little market in Lanai reminds me of the Oshima Store I went to in Kealakekua on the Big Island. Basically it's a general store..........half supermarket, half "get evvvvvvvery thang" kinda store! Apparently the Pine Isle Market has been in business since 1951, so you can see they've been doing something right. I basically wandered into this store to check to see if I could find a souvenir to take home from Lanai...........you know, like a - "All I got was this lousy t-shirt from Lanai" kinda thing. Unfortunately, I didn't find anything to my liking, but I did get a nice little look at a cool "old skool" store. A definite throw back in time coming into this little store!
