Stopped into Costco last night upon landing in Kauai to stock up for the week. We were informed by the checker that the food court and bakery are closed for renovation. We were still able to stock up on treasures in other departments. I thought I would pass the information along so future travelers can plan accordingly.

It was a pleasure to go into costco and eat pizza with new mango drink. It was so fulfilling. My kids loved it. HI is not a cheap state. With 2 kids, costco is the way to go. It was fantastic experience.

Was pleasantly surprised to see Costco had a Sushi section. I bought a couple of rolls that were excellent!

Did not find it in any other Costco on the mainland so decided to try it - it was excellent - inspite of it not being the hottest day of the year! Good quality mangoes used!

Great shopping location. Food court had a mango smoothie and mocha coffee slushie which were both really good. The churros were average - not enough cinnamon sugar on them and slightly burnt.

Hot dog and a drink for a buck and a half. Good beef dog, same as the thousands of Costcos around North America. The line goes fast. How do they do it?

I've been to Costco on Oahu, Maui, Big Island and now Kaua'i (and of course the mainland.) This Costco has the same "Hawaii" section as all of the other Costcos - chocolate covered macadamia nut cases (12 boxes for $36.99), $8.99 sarongs, $19.99 Hawaiian shirts, rash guards, swimsuits, various Hawaiian alcohols, chips and treats. Costco is legitimately the cheapest on any island for these items. Costco is probably the most expensive place to purchase poke, but is fairly affordable for lomi lomi salmon. If you're a tourist, you don't need a Costco-sized poi - you're not going to finish it, so skip it. My issue with this Costco is that the groceries are SO expensive - but still more affordable than a regular grocery store on Kaua'i. $14.99 for 15 pounds of potatoes? $13.99 for 10 pounds of onions? $12.99 for 2 pounds of strawberries? Surprisingly, Kerrygold butter is the same price as it is back home on the 9th island. I noticed that unlike every Costco I've ever been to, people were leaving with very few items in their carts, including people who were clearly locals by their purchases. Luckily if you're feeling the pinch on Kaua'i, the Costco food court is the same price on the mainland, especially with the $1.50 hot dog and drink combo. Visited: January 2023

Love the outdoor food court at Costco. Lines are long, but they move fast.

Costco travel to book rental cars, cars usually OK. Except in AZ reservation had problems. The problem is the once you use CostCo travel you will get robo Scam Calls, offering free room (with strings) not really free. Of course they want a credit card #.. I am on a no call list. Asked to stop calling, CostCo does not take no for an answer. Solution, block all calls from CostCo travel, Filed Complaint with FTC for telemarketing SCAMS... GOOD BYE COSTCO!!! Will book direct.

$1.50 for a hotdog that is a footlong size, and a 20z all you can drink makes it the perfect snack meal place to go.

Excellent shopping experience. Store is clean and staff very friendly. This was the first stop after landing in Lihue. Great selection of meat, snacks and alcohol for our condo stay.

Great first stop after you check into condo. Can even go before if you want to buy cooler and ice for travel. In addition to the normal household and kitchen staples there are some fun Hawaiian products - Best price on Kauai coffee. I remember the Kalua pork and pork lau lau being very good from previous trip but we were stuck with too much quantity at the end so passed on that. The Lomi , Seaweed salad, and ahi sashimi are great. Local purple sweet potatoes. There were several flavors of fresh poke available - the spicy one was great. Bought some local dried Ahi and Taco jerky to snack on that were like leather but fun to eat. Marinated korean beef bulbogi and a fresh bag of local noodles on the menu tonight. Was disappointed in the sushi platters - Very sticky rice, minimal fish, and mostly fish cake / Krab on insides. Kind of a starchy uninteresting mess. I would recommend just stick to the sashimi.

Manager Heather leadership is on full display at the Costco food court. I've never seen the this area run as effectively as it does since she took over. Food is prepared quickly and is delicious. Thank You Heather and Team
