The store is too dark, couldnt see the beauty of the diamond i was about to purchase. I has to walk outside with staff to see the sparkles of diamonds.It was inconvenient because it took longer and not happy with stepping out for each ring i wanted to try.According to wonderful staffs, it was not being fixed for long period of time. How can replacing a lightbulbs take that long??Staffs were wonderful they deserve 5 stars, but store lighting was bad. So 4 stars it is.

Amber helped me with the process of purchasing my ring and explaining the insurance process. I am a dude and do not buy jewelry normally, however Amber made the process easy and without pressure. If you are on Kauai please go see Amber at Kays.

Manager is horrible to her employees very rude disrespectful on the floor in front of costumers 3 employees hv reported her to corporate . Yes she's still working there . Kyra now has her new Husband Jeff writing terrible thing about her employees on Facebook. I will go back to work when's she's finally leaves the island. Thank God she got a house off Island all the employees are happy she's leaving including me for sure . I don't know how you works keep a horrible mangers that long in your business. Very said you have not fired her .

Absolutely terrible customer service. The woman at the front door, who may be the manager, was horrendous. It felt like she didn't even want us to come in. She was yelling at staff members in front of customers. Totally unprofessional. I would never spend my money at this store.

I just stopped in to look at ring for my wife, I was just told I cannot browse the store. Extact words were I can't have you wandering the store, we practice social distancing here. The closest any other person to me was about 8ft. The sales lady was about 3ft. She walked up to me. So the only one who broke social distance was her. If you don't want customers to walk in, close your doors. Don't leave them wide open or put a noticeable sign that says wait for assistance. I just recently made another purchase at this store. The staff that day was polite and pleasant. Today I feel I was pushed out. I will not be back other than to pick up my prior purchase.

The salesperson said that not all their diamonds are certified. They sold me a diamond pendant with no information other then what was on the receipt which only showed the type of gold, nothing about the diamond.

The lady at the door had no customer service skills at all. Then the lady that was suppose to help us was pretty rude made me feel uncomfortable when I told her what my budget was, as if I shouldn't be shopping there. My finace was over it, she wanted to say something to the associate about how unprofessional she was when she laughed and said something about looking at the sterling silvers because of our price range but she didn't and we just decided to walk out. With everything going on right now I don't think that budget was bad at all. They definitely lost my business for sure. I'm sure we'll find something at another jeweler. Such a bad experience for us shopping for our first ring. Never going there again.

They had no courtesy in helping us, we came from the north shore just to pick up my sons chain because he loves his chain and missed wearing it , they closed at 7pm we finally got there @ 7:03 .They didn't even have the courtesy to come to the door to see us when I tried to get their attention. I can see 10 minutes late but 3 minutes! Come on !

Kay Jewelers in Lihue, HI is my favorite place to shop. 💠Two of the salesmen helped me find the perfect gift today. Customer service is excellent and it comes with a smile. 😊 I'm looking forward to shopping there again.

Crappy customer service! They went above and beyond to make a sale but that's about it. Fake personalities! Complimenting everything I was wearing and carrying when I walked into the store just to butter me up. I ordered a ring from them because they seemed caring. When it arrived, they called me once and the call was missed because I was at work. They never attempted to call me again or leave a voicemail. I called a week later because I was worried about my item. When they answered, they said it is ready for pickup and they tried calling ONCE to notify me. When I went to pickup, they were all smiley and helpful until I said I was only there to pickup. Instantly their smiles dropped and I'm assuming it's because I was not purchasing anything that day. My 2nd experience was worse! Very unprofessional and even argued with me to prove their point. Will gladly take my business else where. Current employees need an attitude change and proper customer service training!!! I only gave it 1 star because yelp wouldn't let me continue with 0 stars.
