“One of the official US passport acceptance facilities on Kauai and staffs were very kind and helpful. I did apply to renew passport here after making online appointment with an agency. There are two agencies who can accept application at this Lawai Post Office and they were both very good. This location was also excellent because Seven-Eleven which has a copy machine available, is very close to the post office.”
“The staff is friendly and helpful! They are very accommodating, but also do a good job of setting their boundaries. When they are closed they are closed. Sometimes they will still answer questions but they are not afraid to tell you their hours and continue to lock up. I appreciate that they allow people who receive mail from them to come after hours to check their P.O. Box.”
“I had an issue with a new carrier not delivering signature-required mail and certain packages that needed to be left at the door despite me being present at home all day (with my front door open), and I left a comment on the USPS website regarding my experience. I never had an issue with my previous mailman. The next business day, I received a response from my local post office, and they rectified the delivery issue immediately. I'm certainly surprised by their attentiveness to matters like this, but more so impressed by their willingness to reach out to me, communicate, and then improve their service. Mahalo -- big appreciation to my new (and old) mail carrier and the whole staff at the PO.”

“Kudos to Pete who was so nice and helpful.. my elderly mom needed a passport and he was so kind to the both of us and I was able to fill out application and have picture done and the whole process in less than an hour… my timing was perfect he replied and he made it so easy.. mahalo Pete you da best!!!
