The cashiers are quite insistent in trying to get you to open one of their credit cards. When I politely decline the offer and they keep repeating themselves and I eventually lose patience and quit being polite and they talk to me like I'M THE ONE being rude, it makes me want to leave the items I was planning to purchase on the counter and walk away. I will do this next time.

This review is for Cosmetics. Norma and Laura at the Clinique counter are Angels!! My husband and I were on Kauai for our Babymoon and getting ready for our maternity photos. The makeup artist I booked cancelled right before she was supposed to arrive at our room because her son was sick and tested positive for COVID :( Being pregnant I was grateful for her honesty but it left me in a pickle because I'm not good at doing makeup and really wanted it professionally done for the photos. Enter Norma and Laura! Norma promptly answered the phone when I called in a panic and double checked that Laura could do my full makeup while she was at lunch (because I needed to scheudle an appt for 45 mins from the time I called and she was going to be on lunch at that time). She told me there is no fee for makeup application and I could just purchase any products that I like after. Incredible!! I arrived to the Clinique counter 45 mins later. Norma and Laura were both there and had face masks on (thank you for being safe and respectful!) Norma handed me over to Laura and then went on lunch. I quickly explained the situation to Laura, showed her my inspo photo and she quickly got to work picking out products and doing my application. Wow is she talented!! She shared that she had only been working there a few weeks but you would never know based on how my makeup looked when she was done with me. She listened to me super well, I said I wanted a "natural" look and that is exactly what she did. I've found that sometimes even when you tell makeup artists that they still struggle and use so much makeup and I don't feel like my face looks like 'me' and my face feels cakey, like a have a mask on. Not Laura, she is a true pro! She invited my husband to sit across from me and worked quickly to transform me into a look that made me feel confident and comfortable going into our maternity shoot. I don't like using the tester products on my lips so I bought the lip gloss. It's a beautiful neutral shade that is moisturizing and not sticky. I also loved the mascara Laura chose for me, which is appropriately name High Impact. I noticed that it was included in a special promotion box that had multiple full size products, including the mascara, for only $35 (~$11 more than the mascara alone). Laura even hooked me up with a couple samples! I could not be happier with the customer service, makeup application and products offered at this Clinique counter!

I would love to thanks Lilian . Love how she took her time to do my highlights ! She’s friendly and she kind ! It was nice getting knowing her ! It took a long time to do my hair but I never mind cause I enjoyed talking story with her and one of the coworkers who I never got the name ! This is the only store in Lihue to purchase high quality clothes-wear @ Kukui Grove. It was called Liberty House back then, also it's one of the original stores left in the mall along with Software Etc./GameStop, and Longs Drugs.

It is fortunate she was turned away from bleaching. I can tell her from experience it doesn't end well. Do you want to leave with a head of hair? Think along those lines. No, to turn away business is a very serious indicator the stylist expects a poor outcome. This is everything you'd want in a salon. I hope it's still open! I went for years, getting the amazing stylist & colorist, Wanda, who sadly works there no longer. But she was really brilliant with color. Heard she's on the West Side of Kauai now. Look her up! I've been in some of the best salons in NYC & London, and can say Wanda is on par with them all. I wouldn't say that about any other stylist I've worked with here on Kaua'i. Wanda is really gifted across the board. Hope you can find her!

Love it see the island again but some places Changed to worse , one of them is Kukui Grove... the hawaiian music or song are gone ... instead they turn on some TikTok n heavy metal song , have no idea where are the idea coming from , they have been lost the vision of the Hawaiian island and no idea where they are??? This is place where the tourist enjoy the vibes of the island , we want enjoy the sound of the island not TikTok , heavy metal or rock song ... we are in Hawaii not Las Vegas, LA or NY or clubs

Kukui Grove Center is an open-air shopping center home to Macy's, Longs Drugs, Ross and Times Supermarket, along with dozens of shops, restaurants, banks and services, and lots of free ample parking. Recently they upgraded the mall with a food court renovation, and a new Keiki Korner Play Area. But because of the coronavirus pandemic, Kukui Grove Cinema 4, sadly closed permanently. In the works, Kukui Marketplace will open Kauai's newest Target.

I'm always amazed at the great selection and prices this Macy's has. I always find something I love. The staff is so helpful and orders in anything we can't find in store. Kauai is lucky to have this store.
