“I am updating my review from a 1 star to a 4 star, due to Matt calling me and genuinely caring about improving my experience. I appreciated the call and I understand things take time, however better communication is needed and I believe Matt and his team will deliver that.
I have hurricane insurance through Allstate and for the most part, I don’t need to contact them for much. I pay my premium and the provide my coverage. Nothing crazy. Recently, my mortgage lender reached out to them for a copy of my policy. They never returned any messages, I emailed Matt who was very responsive when I first signed up more than 10 years ago. He never returned any voicemails or emails. I finally got in touch with Tony, he was nice and said he would help me and send over my policy, no problem - this was on a Friday. I never heard back, and by Monday, my mortgage lender never received anything. I called on Monday and Tony informed me he was getting an “error” so his coworker sent it. I called my lender and they still haven’t received anything. I understand things happen but no excuse for ghosting me and not responding to emails or voicemails. When I texted the customer service number to ask how I can leave a review, all of a sudden I got an email with my policy. Not sure if that was coincidence or not, but definitely frustrating. I always try to support local businesses and this experience is making me want to switch insurers especially since they’re not the cheapest either, combine that with poor customer service, no sense staying with them.”

My son's vehicle was struck by a driver who ran a red light on 4/5/23.
Unfortunately my son's car was totaled, drivers door was struck, airbags deployed major damage to wheel hub. Fortunately, my son was able to open the car door and WALKED AWAY.
ALYSSA S. at PUKALANI STATEFARM was my guiding light throughout the process. I called the Pukalani office, Alyssa called me back and answered MANY MANY MANY QUESTIONS. The STATEFARM APP, mistakenly said on the 11th the car was being repaired. I called to confirm and OOPS it's totalled. Alyssa immediately replied to my email and we spoke about what to expect next. She was spot on and gave me pointers. I definitely feel she relieved my stress. I got my buy out direct deposit 4/18/23 which enabled me to replace my son's car FAST. He is seven weeks from dental school graduation in California and it was complicated. But Alyssa knew exactly what to do, I needed proof of insurance coverage for the dealer in Californiavon 4/19/23, Alyssa emailed a binder and temporary insurance card in minutes! My car was released to my son the 20th! THANKFUL FOR PUKALANI STATEFARM AND ALYSSA S.!!!

Today, the day before flying back to Maui, Harrison received a CALIFORNIA DMV letter stating, your registration will be canceled 7/26/23 as we have no proof of car insurance. Alyssa answered the phone, LUCKILY and emailed me proper documentation to submit online. THANKS ALYSSA!!!
