Banyan Tree Bed and Breakfast is a quiet, peaceful, and amazing oasis in Upcountry Maui, offering the best value and a marvelous experience. The beautiful property is a best-kept secret, featuring a sparkling pool and a hot tub perfect for a chill morning or evening, for stargazing, or for viewing sunsets from the garden. Accommodations like the spacious Banyan room, the Gardenia room, and the great-for-groups Bamboo studio are very nice, clean, very cozy, and comfortable. While there is no A/C, the perfect overnight temperature makes sleeping with windows open peaceful and refreshing. A simple breakfast, including delicious muffins, is brought to the room. The grounds are surrounded by birds singing and trees breathing, creating a wonderful overall ambience. The location is outside of town yet very close to a cute town with shops, restaurants, a beach, and a tequila distillery next door. It is also a very short drive from the airport. The management is very attentive, showing kindness, patience, and compassion, taking great care of guests. Visitors highly recommend staying here and are excited to return.
I absolutely loved staying here. The rooms were spacious and comfy. The pool was lovely. The hot tub was relaxing. The view was amazing. The wild hens were adorable. I can't wait to come back!

Beautiful bed and breakfast in Makawao, we stayed in Sue’s Cottage. Amazing room, lovely pool area with gorgeous views of Maui. AND Helaina is gracious host! We cannot wait to come back.

Beautiful, quintessential old Hawaiin property. This place is so special, quiet, lush grounds. The host/owner is very accommodating. We stated for 1 week and would definitely like to come back. So peaceful, we miss it already
