Jordanne Gallery is a unique artist-run gallery in the heart of Makawao Town. The local artist-in-residence specializes in oils of Hawaiian original landscapes, seascapes, and local culture, with art that depicts a memory with a story within the Hawaiian beauty of Maui. Visitors can catch the artist painting during the day, as she paints live and has daily demonstrations on her techniques. She is a beautiful person and talented artist who really captures the feeling of Maui. Guests are welcome to ask questions and she spends time talking about her experience and how she works. It is a special experience and an intimate glimpse into her world as a professional Maui painter. Through her art, she gives back to the community. She is an amazing person with an amazing gallery, highly recommended when visiting town. The gallery offers original oil paintings and prints, and she also accepts commissions. Jordanne created a beautiful book of paintings created as a tribute to Lahaina. I had visited her gallery prior to the Lahaina fire and had always admired her work. Thank you for putting our Lahaina memories into forever images!!
