“I like the vegan options at this place, and the outdoor seating. Makawao is a charming, quaint little town. It’s a great restaurant to have breakfast with vegetarian and meat eating friends also, they have tasty choices for everyone. I like the vegan biscuits and gravy, they don’t serve that at many vegan restaurants I’ve been too. The vegan yogurt and fruit bowls are good too. This restaurant is situated amongst lots of stores and galleries, so it’s fun to walk around and shop after dining. Updated from previous review on 2026-05-23”

Been coming here for decades and it's nice to see it grow into a decent place with clean facilities and ample paved parking. Right across the street fro Haiku Marketplace making this the heart of commercial Haiku. Next door to Haiku Post Office. Check out the pics to see the list of businesses. “Fantastic sandwich from the deli here, along with really friendly employees. I enjoyed the Turkey BLT sandwich and couldn’t believe how big the portion size was. A good selection of snacks and drinks to grab as well, either before/after your visit to Haleakala. It’s part of a lodge and restaurant as well, but I believe those businesses were affected by a recent local fire. But the marketplace is still open so go and support this local gem!”
