Seriously the pharmacy is closed from 1330-1400 for lunch. Not sure why they can't flex the workers and keep it open for people that need to pick up their meds. Totally unacceptable!

Out of the 3 Longs Drugs in Mililani, the one by Safeway is the absolute best in customer service excellence. The staff are always available and helpful. They acknowledge and are appreciative of the customers, which is the benchmark of great management, leading by example. The manager, Kevin, caters to servicing the customers who patronize this store, unlike the other 2 locations where the management aren't usually visible to the public and the respectful appreciation of consumers by employees isn't apparent. It's obvious that consumers who shop at this Longs Drugs location are loyal, regular customers, and I'm absolutely proud to be among them. The 2 other locations are much closer to my home, but I prefer to drive to shop at this one. I recently learned that this location will be closing its doors for the last time in early December. Myself and many of my friends and family in Mililani are beyond saddened and a bit angered by the news. If CVS proceeds with the closing of this store, I personally will probably opt to do more shopping at Mililani Walmart, which has many of the same goods and service much the same as the other 2 Longs Mililani locations. Thank you to Kevin and his staff for going above and beyond to make an amazing difference in our shopping experience.

The manager here has NO Personality, always has a sour face , workers here also have the same attitude , days of great customer service is gone , ever since CVS took over things went to crap , probably because CVS treats the employees like a number and not a person . Not impressed at all.

Years ago I'd go to Longs every Sunday when you could see the display on the register and see that the price was correct. Since CVS took over the place it's just screwed up especially the Mililani Marketplace location. I just went there as I had a discount on my card that I put on every Thursday/Friday from my email. As I checked out yesterday the clerk said there's no discount showing on my card. This is not the first time this has happened. I now go there at best once a month as I do most of my shopping at Walmart which you can save hundreds every year. What is Walmart's everyday price is still lower than the sale price at Longs. I also moved all of my medications to Costco Waipio as what Longs was charging as a co-pay is zero at Costco. I think this place is a rip.

The best Longs. Employees are friendly, shelves are stocked, the store is near and organized. I go out of my way to shop at this Longs.

I don't really have much to say in this review. I was in and out for the items that I was buying. The store was clean and the items were very easy to find. Though I didn't interact much with the staff, they appeared to be friendly and willing to help. I used the self check out for my items and the process was very easy. I like that I can have my reciept emailed to me so that I don't have to carry around a long receipt with a bunch of coupons. A good experience overall.

June 2022 by Naomi I.
I received a text 2 days ago informing me that my medication refills will be ready on June 1. I call the pharmacy in the morning, after pressing many buttons, i finally get to talk to a real person. She puts me on hold for a long time, so I hang up. I go to the pharmacy at 1:40pm, only to find out that the pharmacy is closed between 1:30-2:00 because they are all out to lunch. So I walk around in the store until 2:00. They open up at 2:00 and I tell them my name, my medication is not ready, "We just opened up". HUH? WHAT? You guys were open all morning and could've filled it. Why text me to tell me that it will be ready, when it's not? She tells me to give them 20 minutes. I left, I already spent 20 minutes there waiting for them to open. I leave, and then I get a text 10 minutes later that my medication is ready. Talk about inefficiency. If they told me 10 minutes, I would've waited. Now I gotta go back there and probably stand in a long line. So frustrating. Glad my doctor gives me 90 days of meds so I don't have to deal with this on a monthly basis.

Located in the little shopping area in Mililani Town area, this is a convenient store for the location. The store is just like the other CVS stores, organized and clean. It seems to be well stocked, and the checkout line isn't too long of a wait.

I had a run in with one of the cashiers a few weeks ago. Can't even remember what the problem was, however, that cashier obviously hasn't built his bridge and walked over it yet. He was assisting a customer as I was waiting in line to check out today. The other cashier was busy assisting someone too. When he was done helping his customer, he did not call me over to his register. I waited and waited. We made eye contact a few times. I thought I heard him mumble something but I wasn't looking in his direction at that time so I started to make my way over to his register. Guess what happened? As I did that, he turned off the light and suddenly wasn't available. I confronted him about what he did and asked him if his behavior was in retaliation for what happened last time. Of course he said no and some additional words so I demanded that he get his supervisor involved. Initially wasn't going to do what I asked, however, I told that I would call the corporate office and make a complaint. I spoke with the operations manager, Brandon, after he had been briefed by the cashier and he sauntered over to where I was. He seemed to be annoyed that he had to come and listen to my side of the story. I explained what happened and Brandon said "My cashiers would never ignore a customer." Guess what Brandon...I was ignored this evening. When I included information about what had happened the last time Brandon said he would talk to that cashier. I highly doubt that will happen. Another thing I didn't appreciate about them both is that they felt that they could speak to me condescendingly probably for the following reasons: (1) I am a woman (discrimination exists in Hawaii too), (2) I am not Japanese, like they are (racism exists in Hawaii too), and (3) because they really don't care (douche bags live in Hawaii too). If I had been Japanese, they would have been more respectful. Don't ever judge a book by it's cover. When people do that to me, I like to cram my intelligence way up their asses. Don't underestimate me!!!

This review is mainly for the Pharmacy Department here at Mililani Marketplace where I have been picking up my prescriptions for over 15 years now. Because of my medical plan where I work , it's kind of weird that this is the only Longs Drugs in Mililani that accepts my Medical Insurance and let's just say I'm not gonna complain because the Pharmacy Crew here at the Mililani Marketplace Location are simply the best. I really wish I can remember everyone's name here because they are all so helpful and friendly but there are two people I would like to commend for their amazing customer service. One of them is Shay. Shay always has a pleasant personality and what really made her stand out was when she took my call and although being busy she took the time to get my information over the phone to change my medical insurance. Shay was there every step of the way during this process and will always remember her for that because of her positive attitude. Another employee I want to mention goes by the name of Kira. Kira has the personality and demeanor that everyone should follow if you are in Customer Service. She is always pleasant, friendly, and so full of energy. She would put the Energizer Bunny to shame because she is always on the go. What I like about Kira is that she has same friendly and upbeat attitude to everyone that she tends to. In Customer Service it's all about first impressions and Kira will always leave a lasting impression on you because she is always smiling and cheerful all the time. You really can't teach those kind of traits. It comes naturally and straight from the heart and with Kira she has that effect that leaves you with a smile on your face. I've been in the Food and Beverage Industry for 34 years now and Kira definitely has the IT factor when it comes to people interaction and Customer Service. Traits like that will take her a long way and Longs should be proud have an amazing asset like Kira. In ending I can't thank the Pharmacy Department enough for all that they do especially dusting these uncertain times. It's great to know no matter how stressful things are in life that employees like Shay and Kira make things less stressful and gives you a more positive outlook on everything...

7-27-2020 got a phone call from Longs if I was interested in making an appointment for my 2nd and last Shingrix shot. That made my day My 1st shot was in February 2020 and I had a 6 month window to get the next one. SO please because this pharmacy keeps track of your prescriptions if you need a refill, especially important during Covid-19 pandemic era and the possible onslaught of Hurricane Douglas. Kelli, the pharmacist is excellent at administering the shot. Fast, painless and friendly. Wait was short after filling out 2 forms then having my forehead temperature taken. If you are at the appropriate age and need to take a flu or shingles shot, check out Kelli if this Mililani pharmacy is convenient for you. Keep safe and healthy

My first time coming to this longs because I was shopping for graduation balloons since other Longs ran out and I saw they had two and one of the workers were blowing up other balloons. All I wanted was one of the two graduation balloons they had but that was not the case. The worker blowing up balloons had her back faced me so I tried calling for attention but she did nothing for me but to talk to her coworker instead. The other worker was helping another customer regarding balloons which I didn't mine but she came up to where I was and didn't even acknowledge me or tried to tell me that she will help me after. Safe to say I left the store without getting what I needed and left feeling very annoyed at what I experienced at this Longs Drugs location.

I like to come to this location because it's not as chaotic and busy as Town Center and i have no complaints about the parking compared to Mauka's location. With that being said, somehow this is the last Long's out of the 3 that I frequent. I don't even know why I bother going to TC when the products I'm in search of are sold out. Maybe because it's closer, but it's not much of a further drive down to the oldest part of Mililani. However, it's a hit or miss with the customer service. Some are friendly, some are meh, and others are just over it. We may not be able to see that smile behind the mask, but your eyes in a way smile too and that I can see. I'm not one to expect excellent customer service but garsh, negative vibes are contagious. Let's just brush it off and hope I caught the dude on the wrong day.

If I could give a hundred stars, I would... and if you know me, I am very tight with my stars. First of all, I know with this COVID-19 pandemic, everyone is afraid and cautious. Our first responders and health care workers are working hard and risking their lives (and families). Thank you to them. But let's not forget the people who are also risking their lives by opening their doors and providing food and supplies to everyone! Like everyone else, we are trying to stay home and only go out once a week for food and necessities. The online longs ad is the best. I can make my list and go to my FAVORITE Store which is all the way down by Safeway. Why do I travel so far ? (I live in mauka) because I go for the service and product availability. We waited about 10 minutes before we were let in the store. Cashier welcomes us and gave us hand wipes. I see another employee directing people to stand in line and which cashier is open. He is also answering a million questions. As I am looking for certain items, I observe this man. He is patient, calm but yet direct and assertive. I go up to him and ask him, "are you the store manager". His eyes got big and said yes. I told him, "you are doing an awesome job. Thank you so much". I could tell he was very appreciative and thanked me. His name is Kevin and I could tell he was the store manager. His staff goes to him for guidance and he LEADS BY EXAMPLE! Awesome job! Thank you so much to you and your team! Just a reminder to shoppers... mask up, buy your shit then go home!
