I bought 4 pieces of fried chicken on my birthday last 28th of February and I was terribly disappointed and so disgusted because the chicken was hard and too much flour and salty. Will never come back at SAFEWAY MILILANI again because of this very bad experience.

To kick off summer, a couple of my family members picked up a sheet cake from Safeway Mililani for me. I’m not a sheet cake fan, but it was a white cake, quite moist, and since I already had ice cream in the fridge, it elevated it. Cost was $30.99. Although I don’t really shop for regular groceries here, I do like their deli, especially the cold container soup. The produce department is decent, and they do have a nice selection of flowers as well. I prefer to come here at night because I don’t like the heat, and I can just roam around at leisure, looking for anything I can’t find at my neighborhood grocery store. I give Safeway Mililani as a whole a 3 star average rating mainly because of prices, but if you get a icee or slush puppie machine in there (or both!!) It would definitely be a 5. ?

I was just at this store on Saturday and the Makiki store today. I love shopping at Safeway, mainly because they have the best selection of ice cream on the island of Oahu. ??

Not a big fan of Safeway for many reasons but my sister and I are volunteering and helping a super nice couple with their weekly groceries. There's never the hot deli items at 4:30pm on a Friday. Yes, it's a busy time but MAKE MORE! Can you imagine the loss revenue?! I would say 75% of the items are out of stock and I'm talking everyday type of items... like a head of lettuce. Service could be better but it's the convenience and the couple used to shop there when they could, so they know the store like the back of their hand. The prices are nuts but so is everywhere. I hope in the coming weeks, they stock up!

Went in for the Friday $5 chicken and wondered why there was no line. They had the chicken but it was nuggets and tenders. Not the option I was hoping for do unsure if I'll need to look at the ad from now on before stopping in. Ended up grabbing some groceries I needed and like most stores prices have gone up. Most were on sale but it's still higher priced than it used to be. Store is well kept and service is good no matter.

I bought donuts at 0530am. I bit into one and threw all of them out becuz they were super stale & inedible! At 0530am the donuts were hard, dry, and tasteless.That trip to Safeway was a complete waste of gas, money & time. It was enough to cut Safeway Mililani from my list of grocers.

Interesting I didn't stumble upon this service during the pandemic, but did you know Safeway offers curbside pickup - you just need to spend a minimum of $35! This service is amazing and the staff that has shopped for me and communicated substitutions has always been friendly and helpful. The curbside pickup in particular, you do pay for the bags they'll need to shop/bag your groceries, you can't bring your own. But to my knowledge, you get the store pricing (not some marked up price) and you can clip online coupons and get sale items, just as if you are shopping in-store. This service has been a massive time saver and I'm so thankful for not only the service but the friendly staff. Mililani Safeway doesn't have designated stalls to park in. During my first order, they told me to park near the front curb, near to the blue post office mailbox.

I've posted a couple of very poor reviews on this supermarket chain in the past. However, I must compliment Rosanna at this store. She is the Deli manager and actually engages with customers and markets the various products. She is friendly, courteous and actually makes the customers feel appreciated. Kudos to Safeway on a great employee.
