Just had the most wonderful shopping experience at Pahoa Ace Hardware. An associate named Carol went above and beyond to help me AND every single employee in there was smiling and happy. Positive energy….That means the world to me.

Auwe! Big surprise today at pick up area at Ace Pahoa today. I’m Kupuna and kind of small. Usually the people in back help me load my car. Not today! Wow I did ask if she’d help. No I do t have to do that was the response. I politely said,” that’s not very good customer service. “ “so what they always come back was her response. Wow! Kea’au I’ll be shopping with you from now on. No aloha in Pahoa.
On another note: customer service at registers was great! Mahalo for showing aloha there. But still going to Kea’au for help.

Every time I go in the Ace in Pahoa and John is there I learn something new. He’s very informative and takes the time to share his wisdom. Best hometown hardware store! All friendly, helpful employees.

Pahoa Ace has happy and helpful employees, and always has what I'm looking for! I bought a lock, Air freshener, and they're always well stocked on 39 gallon sz. trashbags! Plus I always look forward to seeing John & Sharon! They're the the best! Manager seems pretty cool too!

Service refuse to put cinder bag in the car because wife still sitting in the seat. Complaint to the manager he said if someone still sitting in the chair what if the worker drop it on the persons back. We just refunded and go some where else.
