I went to this branch basically just to waste my time. My appointment was at 9:00am on 09/29/25. Someone called Corazon Pascual “ Cora Pascual “ according to her badge was supposed to help me, but she DID NOT HELP AT ALL. I needed notary services and this service is free of charge for clients. I explained exactly what I needed and this lady said that she couldn’t help. I needed notary services for my diploma and transcripts to get apostilled later on. She mentioned “ you don’t have the notary page. I can’t help.” In my understanding if your job is notary, the minimum expected is you to have a page for your client. She was not friendly at all. I got very irritated but I just said “ Thank you. I will find out what I need to do.” I ended up going to a UPS store and got it done in 30 minutes. I service that was supposed to be free for clients. I had to spend $80.00. If you don’t like your work, quit and give the position to someone able to get the job done. I just want to make sure this horrible experience is shared with all of you. I wish I could give ZERO STAR.

This review is long overdue but I want to personally give a shoutout to Ashley. She has assisted me time and time again with tougher transactions and she is always consistent in her high level of customer service. She needs to be celebrated and appreciated for the good she does and I know that is naturally who she is. Even though the wait times are long, I can handle it a little bit more, because of people like her that make the rest of my experience great at FHB Pearl City. Thank you Ashley for your commitment to excellence. You are exceptional and the team there is extremely lucky to have you. Thank you for everything you do, for always taking care of me, and always going above and beyond for your team and for your customers.

I want to give a HUGE Shoutout to Tiffany and this FHB Team for her/their tremendous amount of patience and assistance with our transactions today.My mom and I walked in with no idea of making an appointment because we were just flying in from the mainland and passing through to do some important errands. Luckily, we walked in when there were no scheduled appointments and they were able to accommodate us (WE REALLY REALLY Greatly Appreciate this). Tiffany was prompt and efficient with the many things we needed to get done. Moreso, she had such great patience with assisting my elderly Mom. Needless to say, it was success and I'm at eased to say, we got a lot of things done.Thank you so much Tiffany and Pearl City Team.

Not a great bank for car payments. My mom has been trying to get my brother's ownership paperwork since he paid off his car payments last month. She went to this location and Pearlridge asking why is it taking so long to get the ownership paperwork and it's like she is talking to a dummy...no responses whatsoever. They need better customer service who can answer just a simple question and not the kind where they say they get back to you and give you crickets!!!

I wouldve given this bank 0 star. I overheard this lady saying to one of the customers that they take walk in but not for notary. So if there's a walk in before you're appointment, you're just going wait. I had an appointment at 10 am and was helped at 10:40 am for notary. However, Wailani went above and beyond contacting dmv for me to get more information. I appreciate her help. If it wasn't for her I would've left upset. Also, Emily (teller) provided me with an amazing customer service when I was doing paperworks for auto shipment authorization. She kept in touch with me throughout the process.

Very friendly staff here at the Pearl City location. I was there as soon as the doors opened 8:30am. I was able to take care of my business in record time. Customer Service is not only helpful but understanding that things do happen. My card was compromised and she was understanding. I'll definitely use this location again.
