This review is long overdue but I want to personally give a shoutout to Ashley. She has assisted me time and time again with tougher transactions and she is always consistent in her high level of customer service. She needs to be celebrated and appreciated for the good she does and I know that is naturally who she is. Even though the wait times are long, I can handle it a little bit more, because of people like her that make the rest of my experience great at FHB Pearl City. Thank you Ashley for your commitment to excellence. You are exceptional and the team there is extremely lucky to have you. Thank you for everything you do, for always taking care of me, and always going above and beyond for your team and for your customers.

I want to give a HUGE Shoutout to Tiffany and this FHB Team for her/their tremendous amount of patience and assistance with our transactions today.My mom and I walked in with no idea of making an appointment because we were just flying in from the mainland and passing through to do some important errands. Luckily, we walked in when there were no scheduled appointments and they were able to accommodate us (WE REALLY REALLY Greatly Appreciate this). Tiffany was prompt and efficient with the many things we needed to get done. Moreso, she had such great patience with assisting my elderly Mom. Needless to say, it was success and I'm at eased to say, we got a lot of things done.Thank you so much Tiffany and Pearl City Team.

Not a great bank for car payments. My mom has been trying to get my brother's ownership paperwork since he paid off his car payments last month. She went to this location and Pearlridge asking why is it taking so long to get the ownership paperwork and it's like she is talking to a dummy...no responses whatsoever. They need better customer service who can answer just a simple question and not the kind where they say they get back to you and give you crickets!!!

I wouldve given this bank 0 star. I overheard this lady saying to one of the customers that they take walk in but not for notary. So if there's a walk in before you're appointment, you're just going wait. I had an appointment at 10 am and was helped at 10:40 am for notary. However, Wailani went above and beyond contacting dmv for me to get more information. I appreciate her help. If it wasn't for her I would've left upset. Also, Emily (teller) provided me with an amazing customer service when I was doing paperworks for auto shipment authorization. She kept in touch with me throughout the process.

Very friendly staff here at the Pearl City location. I was there as soon as the doors opened 8:30am. I was able to take care of my business in record time. Customer Service is not only helpful but understanding that things do happen. My card was compromised and she was understanding. I'll definitely use this location again.

I've been feeling flustered and frustrated with online banking for a while but Raelynn who is a teller was the most calm and yes, compassionate bank person ever! She helped me to my account on her computer, and then really TOOK THE TIME and care to TEACH me the right things to select so I can do it from home (like online banking is suppose to be about) without getting so upset. I left feeling empowered but also happy because of her kindness. Now that is customer service!

Incredible customer service. The tellers, especially Raelynn, are extremely helpful. Today was my second time interacting with her, and as always she made sure we were well taken care of. All of our hiccups with online banking were resolved before leaving. This branch makes coming in so pleasant!

Over the past few years, I have grown to really appreciate this bank. On the advice of an estate planning attorney recommended to me, I requested the bank to hold my trust documents. Because of its hours, I wasn't able to use the bank very much. Recently, I needed help with converting coins and prior to arriving, was misinformed over the phone about the bank's policies and procedures. The teller and her supervisor were very accommodating in assisting me to resolve my problem. It's when things don't go smoothly that you see an institution's true colors! Thank you for your great customer service, FHB!

Pearl City branch, FHB - The Customer Service Team of Raelynn and Susan turned out to be one of the best places to do my banking. Elsewhere, I encountered lesser experience in handling the complexities of SSA Representative Payee joint accounts required that also involved Trust accounts. They were right on top of it and I was a happy banker.

One of the teller was rude and she has an attitude. I understand they’re implementing social distancing but telling me to stay back twice when im far away from her thats kind of rude and I felt out of place while everyone was standing in front of their teller closer to the desk having conversations im the only one standing away . Its kind of irritating, to be treated that way and embarrassing to the other people like I have the virus or something. im just wearing mask to protect myself Like everyone else wearing mask inside of the bank . My point is I don’t understand why I was treated that way? Like are you serious? At The end She didnt even make an eye contact with me. This is my first ever bad experience from any bank and its disappointing that its coming from first hawaiian.
