“One of my go to sports cards shops and other TCG pickups and card accessories. Pokemon, Digimon, DBZ, one piece if they have, and small selection of mtg. But when it comes down to sports cards. They got the selection even WWE/AEW/UFC cards as well. Even if your looking for Disney topps chrome. Check them out. The workers there very friendly and knowledgeable. If you feel intimidated there don't be. The guys there are cool. They are there to answer our questions.”
“I went there the day before new years eve. Couldn't decide what I wanted to get with such a great selection. Had a chat with the worker there. Really cool guy. Helped me make my decision and got a really cool pick. Gonna come back. Lots of graded and raw sports cards, basketball, baseball, football, hockey, wrestling, UFC.”
“?????
I want to give a huge shoutout to Dylan at the Moomin Shop. He went absolutely above and beyond to help me when I had an issue that the assistant manager couldn't even solve.
Dylan jumped right in, listened patiently, and worked hard to make sure everything was resolved. His kindness, professionalism, and dedication completely turned my experience around. Employees like Dylan make all the difference — thank you!”
“Great selection and good service! They have Tamiya and Vallejo paints, model kits, Woodland Scenics foliage, and a bunch of other necessities for diorama building. It is a small shop, but they seem to have everything you may need. They’re definitely worth checking out if you need model making supplies!”
“Dragons Lair is an absolute institution in Mililani, and despite recently moving an hour away I still make the drive to check it out. Luke and Catie are both incredibly helpful and are awesome people to talk to.The vibe is relaxed and there’s some communities for table top gaming around! Warhammer 40K, Magic The Gathering, it’s all sweet! Their selection of comics, volumes, cards, and collectibles are great and the prices are always worth the visit.Honestly just be chill and don’t be disrespectful, it’s a chill place!”
“My friends and I have visited this shop several times to buy a variety of items, including Pokémon booster packs, Magic: The Gathering sets such as Wilds of Eldraine, Bloomburrow, and Foundations. The store also offers dice, Dragonshield sleeves, and other card storage and protection products. Parking is limited in the front, but street parking is available along the side of the building.”
“Amazing bead/jewelry supply store! Hard to find at first. It’s located to the left of Hamada General Store, small door with a sign. Ring the doorbell and they buzz you in, like a bead speakeasy! Inside is a huge selection of beads, gems, charms, chains, supplies. The best part is how helpful and friendly the owners are! They also have an extensive online resource of beading and jewelry making techniques! Highly highly recommend.”
“Absolutely fabulously friendly people.
First, Google Maps, please update the pin location. Its a whole row off.
The store is on the last row, by the water. Spent a good amount of time chatting and comparing items, coming out with more than I intended, but definitely satisfied.
A good place to get yard art, wall art, and maybe a gift or two for friends and family.
I'll be returning for any more flag or banner items I need.”
“When visiting, note that it’s recommended to CALL them so they can guide you into their store since they’re located inside the storage warehouse.
The main review:
The selection was a bit small because of the size of rental space and their main reputation is being a local source to ship products from out of the island to the local customer base at the island, but their prices were very fair and very helpful, especially their supplier is from the mainland US that gets their items from Japan would cost them heavily with the shipping fees. So when they ever mention about the fact that they’ll be fair with the prices and take hits on any loss of profit for the customer to enjoy a good deal is true.
The staff are not just nice and welcoming, but they are knowledgeable enough about the Gunpla kits they sell (it was cool that even one of them was wearing a 08 MS team shirt lol) and one of the few stores that not only sell gunplas, but also a WW2 Tabletop series “Bolt-Action” (a turn-based table-top strategy WW2 game, pretty fun to get into) where they were REALLY excited and well knowledgeable about when informing me about the Bolt-Action series and the local Bolt-Action events they go to at the island. All of their staff are die-hard fans of the Bolt-Action series.
(Side note, one of their staff had their playlist playing Company of Heroes 2 ost and the Band of Brothers ost. Nice touch.)
They mainly known to have their customer base locally trust them with shipment and handling from third-party sources with good and fair deals. They’re also known to be the lowkey Gunpla store locally due to their store location.
Overall great experience from them.”
“A really cool shop with a nice selection of toys, comics, cards and so on. The items are fairly priced and there are many bargains. The staff is very helpful and wholesome. I definitely recommend visiting this shop. My visit was a great experience which I wont forget.”
“Just ran across this store today. It's a little tucked in and can easily miss it but the store worker was very nice and knowledgeable about the various cards. Recently began collecting pokemon cards and I got some good information and the price for the cards were reasonable.”
“The staff member and store were nice. One of the largest selection of warhammer products on island. They even had some boxes that are sold out everywhere like the christmas battleforce boxes. They are also the only store on island with a used/discount bin. Some of the sets in there are worth it but others are not. For example there were 10x infernus marines at $90 whereas the msrp (and price on their shelf) for new in box is $60. Otherwise all their new in box sets are priced exactly at msrp as on the Games Workshop website, which still may be a saving considering shipping costs to Hawaii, but is nowhere near the average 15% discount from an online discount retailer or Amazon I was hoping for. That is on par with other stores on island, though. As such will be giving 5 stars as they are the best on island source, but will likely continue to order from online.
Tldr; Nice store and staff. Best selection of warhammer on island. Sold at GW prices. Will be returning to look for discount/used bin savings and hard to find sets.”
“Very cool card shop. Super busy, lots of locals, but didn’t have much I liked on graded cards or singles that were for sale. Display only for a lot of ones I would’ve been interested in. They have a lot for sale, pricing is above market for the handful I checked. Workers seemed cool, though I did not interact. Destined rivals was spotted but probably for pre-release event. Should def check out.”
“Fun little tabletop game hobbyist store. Lots of selection from obscure games to Warhammer 40k paints/figurines. The staff was super friendly and you can tell there are many people who enjoy this location because a large card tournament was happening outside the store. Overall, great experience!”
“This place is a gem. The owner is a good person, and really helped me with my deck build. I don't want to blow this place up, but dudes gotta get a positive acknowledgement. Can't wait to go back.”
“Love it so much to find I’m also shocked they have booster boxes in the cases that I’ve opened in my childhood years
The lady was chill n nice gives me a green tea and a free sleeves which I’m totally unsure to take it lol yet this is a nice shop”
“Sarah, Bonnie, and Daniel were awesome. Pointed out the best deal and made sure I was going to get a console that would not work put for my sons. They madey families Christmas It is for service like this I would rather come to the location then shop Amazon.. Thank you, Gamestop Kapolei”
“Very helpful staff. Had a battery i was looking for and then recommend a charger and explained how to use it in great detail. Lucky to have this recourse on the island.”
