Aloha Malama Market Gas is considered by many to be the best supermarket on the Big Island. It is new, clean, and has an amazing selection with well-stocked shelves, offering just about everything one could look for. The store is praised for its very fresh food, including very good poke, great entrees, premade musubis, and superb baked goods. It features a coffee bar, beer bar, sushi bar, and deli bar. The staff is consistently noted as very friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and super nice, making the market family fun to chat with. However, some inconsistency is noted with the hot food bar, particularly at breakfast. While prices on non-staple items can seem higher, prices are generally considered fair for the superb quality. Visitors recommend signing up for the rewards club for great perks.
New, clean with just about everything you could look for in a supermarket. As I was locating it with Google Maps I couldn't find it because the location shows the property before the market and the other businesses in the area was built.

Go to place for food in Pahoa. Very good Poke , and great entrees for dinner. I had pasteles stew with rice, quite nice .

Nice little market. Has a small variety of organic food. Just a bit on the expensive side.
