Hawaian Sanctuary Retreat Center is a peaceful and beautiful place, often described as a huge blessing beyond expectations. The community is extremely relaxed, welcoming, and nurturing, warmly greeting guests with all their heart. The atmosphere is profoundly positive and enhances the experience. The accommodations are super clean and welcoming. Cabins are available, some with incredibly comfortable beds and in-unit bathrooms, while rooms in the main pavilion offer convenient access to a shared heavenly spa room with a sauna, hot tub, and shower. A shared kitchen is also available. The staff and hosts are outstanding, genuine, kind, and loving with a customer-centric approach and great attention to detail. They are a pleasure to talk to, learn from, and are very helpful, even providing directions to nearby attractions. The retreat offers fantastic yoga, therapy, and meditation sessions. Guests also enjoy a full-equip gym and the natural surroundings. The property features amazing birds and animals roaming around, including peacocks, turkeys, and geese, creating a delightful daily interaction. The location provides easy drives to nearby attractions like hot pools on the beach, a magnificent black sand beach, and the town of Pahoa. It is a cost-effective, restful, and absolutely amazing experience that many are incredibly appreciative of and highly recommend, often wishing to extend their stay.
Great place to use as a home base to explore the island , so much fun ! Great staff . Make sure you get a great tea from Deva at the elixir bar before you start your day ! A must stop if you are in the Pohoa / Puna area !!!

Absolutely divine, beautiful place to relax and enjoy the multitude of birds, including several peacocks 🦚 farm fresh food and wonderful company. Lots of things to do if you wish! Yoga and other classes. Dancing and sound healing.

Staff is happy and quite pleasant. There are a lot of activities available for leisure time, such as a gym, pool, yoga and a dance on Fridays, to name a few. The grounds are beautifully manicured.
