Awesome place to stay, close to the volcano and the city. I loved the fresh air at night with the cool rainforest sounds. Good breakfast in mornings and clean/updated rooms.

Wonderful stay near the entrance of Volcanoes National Park! The room was clean, cozy, and had a peaceful rainforest view from the back patio. The provided kettle and microwave were very thoughtful, especially since dining options nearby are limited. Breakfast was delicious—prepared in advance and placed in the fridge so we could enjoy it at our own pace. Thanks to the front desk for letting us know about the lava glowing that night—it was an experience we’ll cherish forever. Can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful B&B.
A lot of love and passion is put into the property. We spent two nights there and immediately felt at home. There was nothing missing!
Check-in and out was very easy and straightforward.
We would come back immediately ?

Beautiful grounds a comfortable accommodations. We were pleased how clean the room was and the breakfast was delicious. We walked briefly around the property, it's lovely even in the drizzle!

My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights. The hosts obviously put a ton of thought and care into the Hale ‘Ohu Bed & Breakfast. We were incredibly comfortable and had everything we needed. Highlights: amazing shower, comfy bed, privacy, easy parking, and delicious breakfast.

This was the most quiet and unique place we have ever stayed in on any vacation. The patio looking out into the rainforest and garden was lovely and the breakfast that they left in the room each day was excellent.
Every detail was thought of and on check in, Nicole was very informative about the park.

Une très belle découverte, nichée au milieu de nulle part, au premier abord, car en fin de compte c’est proche de toutes commodités. Un paradoxe qui vaut vraiment la peine d’être découvert. Je recommande les yeux fermé.
Le déjeuner est de très bonne qualité avec des produits frais et locaux, les hôtes sont très serviables et disponibles, la chambre était spacieuse et très confortable. Un coup de cœur pendant mon roadtrip a travers l’archipel!

Rooms: Schönes, sauberes Zimmer, geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Technische Geräte vorhanden: TV, Kühlschrank mit Eisfach, Kaffee-Maschine. Parkplatz neben dem Zimmer.
Nearby activities: In direkter Nähe zum Volcano National Park. Spaziergang im weitläufigen Garten und im Rainforest Walk.
Safety: Eingangstür zum Zimmer durch Code-Schloß gesichert.
Food & drinks: Reichhaltiges, schmackhaftes Frühstück mit Kaffee, Tee und Fruchtsaft.
Noteworthy details: Herrliche Geräuschkulisse, wie im Regenwald bei Nacht.

Such a quiet and pristine slice of Hawaii. Gorgeous gardens and a relaxing, carefree vibe. Truly a proper vacation spot to go hike the volcano and experience the rainforest.
