open account with BOH got my SUBSEC deposit 3 times. then Alamosa branch said that they would loan me $100.00 then withdrawal from my next pay the next day I found out my mom zelle me $100.00 spoke to Manager Lono Kealoha he printed out documents about my deposit from my mom, then had security escort me out and Treasspassed me from BOH, 1 year later I went wahiawa branch to cash my 2 checks from HMSA CVS AFTER that i asked for information about my account and again manager called the police and i ask to close my account since i can't go there makes no sense but i still have my BOH ATM EASE card that's active under 5 numbers, those numbers are my totals that BOH owes me called BOH and talk to Rena about the tracer number the treasury gave me. before that the other worker said he can't decuss anything regarding my accounts, and that final. so I ask if I could speak to his supervisor, and he ask me is the account about IBM Goldbond certicate, and I said can't confirm or deny. for the next 7 days Rena supervisor was very consistent with getting my tracer number. for the HRS RETIREMENT FUND STARTED FROM ME DONATING MONEY TOWARD THIS FEDERAL ATHLETE DEPARTMARTMENT LICENSE NUMBER DR102 LEXUS BLUE GS400 DR103 Gold Camry title in DEXTER NAKAMOTO ARMY RANGER. Appalling communication, terrible customer service and follow up. After over 15 years of being a customer with them we expected better service. Their standards have dropped significantly.

I have literally been on hold for an hour and a half. This is my only way to get ahold of someone because we are no longer in the island. My husband is military and we have PCS’d. This is absolutely ridiculous and so unprofessional.

I've been on hold for an hour and when I reach an agent I'm on hold for another hour. Fix your priorities I know I'm just one person but Jesus christ I've never had this problem insurance companies in India have better call times then this place

I only opened a bank account here because they took my car loan . If it wasn't for that I would never bank there , the hours are short we all work so I miss the bank , the money pending takes to dang long and every time I go there there's only 2 , maybe 3 tops tellers avail so the line is always long

The Banks manager doesn't even let us deposit our checks in to our business account so we go Waipahu. Although we've been there multiple times we just stop going.

Terrible customer service , no one answers the credit card service line you just get put on hold forever . The only way you get their attention is to complain via social media then boom suddenly you are important enough to call back , then all you get is a bunch of excuses saying covid this covid that , even though the bank itself never closed and the USPS never closed either what a poor excuse for handling a problem i have had for 2 MONTHS now after i changed all my accounts because i never received my card i wasted 2 weeks of my time and with all that not even 1 i am sorry . I guess i have to take my money elsewhere i have had boh for 20 years , any suggestions ?

Horrendous customer service with extremely long wait times on the phone and representatives who don't care and don't know what to do so they provide inaccurate information. Despite numerous attempts to contact the branch and promises that the branch manager would call me, nothing happens! I've truly never experienced anything worse from a bank, so my advice is to avoid them and go elsewhere. How can they be trusted with your money?????

I've never had a bad experience at any BOH. Ray was my teller today and she was extremely knowledgeable, kind, and worked with me to get what I needed done today. Mahalo!

Bank of Hawaii is consistently hard to get a hold of with ridiculous wait times on phone. Refinancing vehicle load and literally waiting on them to answer the phone for the new bank. We have been conferenced in (lady doing loan application and I) listening to the wait music from BoH for a half hour now.

Not enough tellers. At least on Friday give another helper. There's 5 teller counters but for What? My 92 year grandpa has his weekly routine which includes withdrawing money from his bank account. The teller told him to get an ATM card to avoid the lines. He was upset by that saying that they want to replace people with cards and machines. He enjoys his outings although 15 minutes in a bank is rather much. Glad I don't bank there.

Tellers Attention to meet customers need is fast and efficient. The only big,big,big,problem is that there is not enough tellers. The most I see is 2 tellers. For a Big company I think they should hire more employees.

Whether there is 2 customers in line or 20 customers in line there has always been 2 or 3 tellers available at any one time. At least this has been my experience. I will say that the employees are very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable which makes up for some of the wait times. Adding a additional teller to be available at all times would be worth another star and a half.
