“Nice neighborhood grocery store. However, its a bit outdated and in need of an upgrade/updating. Why not build a Foodland farm in Koa Ridge and shutdown this location? Strategically I would highly recommend that before they build another grocery store in Koa Ridge and competitively reduce business at this Foodland.”
“50th State Poultry is a second generation Hawaii Okinawan owned business. According to third generation Evan Uezu, you can purchase "everything but the chicken head" at their factory in Pearl City. They also operate help with a lot non profit organizations raise money by selling BBQ Chicken (can't call it Huli Huli Chicken anymore but it's Huli Huli Chicken).”
“The staff is incredibly friendly, and the service is exceptional. They cater to all your personal needs, whether you're looking for fresh groceries or a chilled six-pack of your favorite IPA. It truly feels like a family atmosphere, where everyone is welcomed with warmth and kindness. I've even witnessed the owners brighten my kids' day by generously offering them free candy as a reward for their good behavior. It’s the little gestures like this that make the experience feel so special and personal.”
