I always have a good experience with them. Whether it's at the Wahiawa location, or at one of their Petco clinics for my dog's vaccinations. They have good pricing and a courteous staff. My dog is nervous around strangers, but they are able to handle him well. Mahalo!

It's good to have a vet in a emergency situations. Some people don't have a silver spoon in their mouths. I'm talking about a lot of money to pay for situations on their pets..Low income. Thanks

We highly recommend the Oahu SPCA!!By appointment only. Makes sense in order to not only not put too much stress on the animals by not overwhelming them with too many visitors but also because of the space at the facility. They are thorough in making sure the pets will be a right match with each person/family. First you have to apply for adoption. Once it gets approved (which doesn't take long) they will respond and set up the appointment to do a meet and greet. Originally we wanted to see another dog for adoption. Grace assisted us and thought another dog would be a better match based on what we wanted. She was right! On our appointment day we saw a couple of dogs but overall decided on the one she recommended. Another thing I liked was their option to foster the dog for a week to see if they are a good match. We knew after a couple of days this dog would be in her furever home.

We had a really good experience, we highly recommend the Oahu SPCA!! By appointment only. Grace, the person who initially helped set up our appointment is so sweet and helpful! Originally we wanted to see another dog for adoption. Grace assisted us and thought another dog would be a better match based on what we wanted. She was right! On our appointment day we saw a couple of dogs but overall decided on the one she recommended. Her name was Pink (we ended up calling her Belle because we got her during December and wanted a name matching Christmas and also the name fitted her sweet personality). Another thing we liked was their option to foster the dog for a week to see if they are a good match. We knew after a couple of days Belle would be in her furever home.

Criteria of this review based on organized paper process, fairness for adoptee, clear and consistent explanation without sudden change, effectiveness of adoption by considering what is the best for the pet. None of them.

Everyone here was so nice. We spoke to Alicia on the phone and met with Grace. We got involved by doing the Doggy Day Trip where you can take a shelter dog out for a few hours of the day. We picked up Gertrude, an 8 year old Boston Terrier. She was such a sweet, adorable dog. On her leash was a tag that said "adopt me" on it, which was great. They also provide a backpack with doggie essentials like poop bags, toys, treats, a towel, water and bowl. We took Gertrude out to Haleiwa Beach, then to a dog-friendly cafe, then for a last stroll around the outside of Dole Planation. It was a great day. Please consider doing a Doggy Day Trip and help these little fellas out by giving them a good day that they yearn for and deserve; and help let them be seen! Someone out in the community might just fall in love with them and maybe adopt them! At the very least, please donate your old, but gently used towels and blankets to them. Anything helps.

We picked up our little furry friend two weeks ago and have been going back to complete her shot series. The staff is always pleasant and helpful and the vets are patient when asked a gazillion questions LOL. I have to give them a lot of credit for doing a great job and keeping fees very reasonable. Our puppy is always excited to see the entire staff which in my mind is a good sign that she was treated well here. They are still observing safety protocols calls - you keep your pet in the car, knock on the door and let them know that you're there. After a short wait they will come out to collect your dog/cat. We are very satisfied and pleased we drove out to Wahiawā, a bit out of the way for us but definitely worth the trip.

My Husband found a abandoned kitten in our garage a little over a week ago. It was so tiny and weak I wasn’t sure if it was going to live but there was no way we weren’t going to do everything possible to help the poor thing have a fighting chance! I contacted Oahu SPCA to get the support I needed with the little kitten because it was so tiny. The entire staff immediately help guide me along to help provide the support I needed to help foster little Mittens ?⬛ Mahalo to the entire staff at Oahu SPCA Wahiawa!! Great job!! ☺️?

I am thrilled to write a glowing 5-star review for the Oahu SPCA Clinic and Animal Shelter. My journey with them began when I adopted my beloved dog, Biscuit, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. From the moment I walked through the doors of the shelter, I was greeted with warmth and genuine care. The staff's dedication to their mission of helping animals find loving homes is truly commendable. The adoption process was smooth and efficient, guided by their knowledgeable and compassionate team.Biscuit, my furry companion, is a true testament to the care and love that the Oahu SPCA provides. It's evident that the shelter prioritizes the well-being of their animals, as Biscuit came to me healthy, well-socialized, and full of affection. The follow-up support and resources provided by the shelter have been invaluable in helping me transition Biscuit into his new home. What truly sets the Oahu SPCA apart is their commitment to not only animal adoption, but also to community education and outreach. Their efforts to promote responsible pet ownership and raise awareness about animal welfare are truly commendable.I am incredibly grateful to the Oahu SPCA Clinic and Animal Shelter for bringing Biscuit into my life and for their tireless dedication to the well-being of animals. If you're considering adopting a pet or supporting a wonderful cause, I wholeheartedly recommend the Oahu SPCA. Their passion, professionalism, and love for animals shine through in every aspect of their work.

Very friendly, affordable prices, and amazing work! They helped us get our pets to the mainland from spaying/neutering to vaccines and then the health certs. All appointments were booked very soon after calling and they made our move process much more smoother. Highly recommend!
