The Mākaha Long's Drugs is my go-to spot on the Westside (bestside!)- always seem to have what I need, extremely helpful and friendly staff. Just a quick hop from the beach, and close to the best shave ice on O'ahu!

Their pharmacy often is rude and just refilled OLD prescriptions that no one asked them to, months AFTER I told them I would not be coming back to them. Then when called, claimed it was the Wai'anae mall longs, when MY ACTUAL PHARMACY told me that my insurance was refusing to pay for my prescription because LONGS MAKAHA had filled them on 6/26. Sooo Makaha still wanted to claim it wasn't them. I do not recommend this pharmacy, nor this shopping area as they are VERY classist and refuse to allow anyone that doesn't look a certain way to use their restrooms.

When returned to see the manager, apparently the employee told the manager I was giving her a hard time and wanted a 20% cvs discount to the wipes I wanted to purchase, which was not the case, I wanted to do a return for an online which she was incompetent of doing and do a store purchase for the sale item wipes. Store manager only emphasing on you can't get a 20% discount if already sales items, Which is was fine with, the point was
1. she ŵas incompetent of the return
2. She didn't honor sale tag in item
3. She was extremely rude
4. And this this all in front of customers to belittle and shame me for being a care member and using discounts.
It is very Sad, that I pay a monthly membership for member perks and can't use them without being judged and ridiculed in front of other customers, so shame, and not on me as a customer, but shame on the store and the employee for how they handle customer service.

Makaha longs is the best . Employees are fantastic, courteous friendly and they're always glad of the way to help I had surgery I couldn't lift anything and the manager put my things in the car for me What a sweetheart you ask and they accommodate you What better place to shop keep up the good work CVS Long's Makaha

Located at the Western part of Waianae (Makaha) CVS/ Longs this store helps to solve the food desert issue on this part of the island. They DON'T have a lot of fresh food items most food is either canned, frozen or boxed. There is a cold storage with some veggies & fruits & Ramen.The store is decently stocked. I have gone to bigger stores thinking that they would have what I needed but ended up at the Makaha store and they had my items every time. Now it's my Go To AND it's closer to my house. The staff are friendly and very helpful ESPECIALLY the manager who helped me with a simple return that the Waianae store failed to do. As a matter of fact , I'm getting on my bike to go buy some slippers.

Stank judgmental and bossy attitude lady working the front440pm 8/6/2023 customer service and kindness is becoming a lost cause and art in society. If you hate your job that much to make others lives more difficult verse helping which is your job. Then find a new profession stop taking your problems out on the public.
