Shannon and his team are excellent hosts. They made us feel welcome and showed us such a great time. We took in 3 marlin and 15 skip jack tunas. I highly recommend his team.

What a great day!! 3 marlin and 15 skipjack tuna. These guys know what they are doing. It's worth doing the full day. Lots of fun and Captain Shannon and Dusty were great guys to spend the day with.

Book the fishing trip! These guys will not disappoint you. I’ve chartered more than my fair share of fishing trips and these guys are my new favorites.
The best location for big game fishing on Oʻahu is in Waiʻanae on the west coast of the island. Since 1985, Live Bait Sport Fishing has been providing full and half day fishing charters. Our experienced boat captains and crew use innovative fishing techniques and are very knowledgeable about the Hawaiian waters. This means you have a better chance of a successful fishing charter.
We try to provide each charter group with 40lbs. of whole fish or about 20lbs of filets. Onboard, we have Ziploc bags to put the fish in. However, because the crew’s main income is selling fish, please understand that we do not cut any fish over 100 lbs., as we cannot sell the fish once it has been cut. This policy also helps to keep our charter prices affordable.
