Nice place to grab a drink and watch the sunset. Food is fine. The fried Brussel Sprouts are quite good.

Very attentive staff. Beautiful sunset. Food tasted good but really only one dish was something special (the scallops). The rest tasted good but not great and were either an odd combination of ingredients (the ahi tataki) or felt like they should have doubled the portion (octopus). Disappointing considering it’s >$100/

I went for dinner around 7:30. don’t know what the hype was. Maybe they were having an off night ? Maybe they can’t handle the amt of diners?Everything was so mid. The appetizers were better than the entrees. My miso glazed fish was over cooked, too salty, and chewy. I didn’t bother to send it back to the kitchen bc the waiter looked like he was stretched thin. My 2 stars really came down to the food. Diabolical prices for food quality. Quality control plz!The waiter was nice, but seemed really busy. I’m sure probably not his fault. Maybe they were understaffed that night. Idk.For the price point, not worth it.

Disappointed. The watermelon salad was excellent. The Ceasar Salad with Ahi was too salty and the dressing was too harsh, overpowering ahi. The market fish was overcooked and not as described. Definitely not like Chilean sea bass. The fried chicken was mostly breading, little bits of chicken. Sauce was excellent but not enough on my plate to add flavor to the dried chicken. Dessert was amazing. Order the cheesecake. The server was good and the setting and ambiance was beautiful.

Server Gwen was excellent and very friendly and welcoming. Our Steak was requested Medium Rear and was more on the wel done. Her reaction was excellent and asked if we wanted to send it back. Regardless the meal was excellent, and we enjoyed our visit. The Ahi Ceasar Salad and Watermelon Salads a Must.

Lovely view but limited menu. It seemed quite noisy which we didn't enjoy. Octopus salad while tasty had very little octopus in it. Lots of lettuce and some croutons. Scallops were very good.

For a highly-recommended restaurant on Maui we were pretty underwhelmed by the food and the service l. The server was never quite sure at what stage of the meal were we in, asking if we were ready for dessert after our appetizer? The food was completely tasteless but with nosebleed prices. What is going on here? With a priceless view and location the opportunity should not be squandered for an impeccable restaurant on the golden greens of Maui. I rate it average because the food was not horrible and the dessert was excellent and innovative! And of course the atmosphere and view are excellent here!

Normally one of our favorite places to eat, and typically will dine here multiple times per visit to the island. This trip is a one and done for us. Waiter seemed distracted/disinterested. Everyone else was lovely. Happy to see the buttermilk chicken back on the menu, until we tasted it. Chicken was under seasoned, and dry dry dry. It used to have this hot honey sauce drizzled over and was sorely missing this component to add both flavor and moisture this visit. What a disappointment to have a favorite dish changed to be inferior to the original. Some changes are good, this one is not. My fish was good, and the waiter ordered it with no garlic for me, which I did appreciate. Black rice was under seasoned. Dessert menu is largely uninspired and not interesting.

Returning to our favorite restaurant for our special Valentine's dinner and they did not disappoint. It was the most beautiful i have ever seen, food was to die for! Everything was detailed from the roses to our parting gift. I am still raving about it, thank you Ka'ana Kitchen i am so glad we booked here this year you went off. Can't wait to see what you'll do next year!

Overall, not a good experience for what we spent – by far the most expensive restaurant, we've dined at in Maui (see our other reviews) and just not worth it. The waiter was not friendly, seemed like he was in a hurry, and yet served us very slowly - and hardly bothered to check in on us. Food was just so-so. We will not return. and hardly bothered to check in on us

Ka'ana Kitchen is a lovely place for a romantic dinner with a beautiful back drop of the ocean and if you time it right the sunset. The mocktails we had were delicious. I ordered the cucumber, ginger, mint and I think my wife had a pineapple flavored mocktail. I ordered the fish of the day and it was very good. Seemed to wholesome. It was served with bok choy and black rice. Apparently, black rice is the rice that was only served to the royal family. No royal family here but I did score the rice. My wife is vegetarian so ordered the Risotto and it was good. I can't say this place is vegetarian friendly so you should keep that in mind. Our waiter was very good and attentive. The place was not busy, I would assume because it was Super bowl Sunday evening after the game but I can't say why for sure. This place is on the pricey side so you may want to keep that in mind. They do provide valet parking validation which is nice and the restaurant is in a 5 star hotel.Vegetarian options: Not really many vegetarian options and not sure if the chef is willing to make a special vegetarian meal?Parking: valet. The restaurant can promo the valet parking

Beautiful spot at Amdaz hotel. View is gorgeous. Service excellentNot vegetarian friendly. Only options were heavy cheese based risotto or a salad. Zero vegan options. Their online menu is wrong so don't go based on that.Micktails are fabulous!

We had an absolutely fabulous time at Ka'ana Kitchen. It is an expensive restaurant but well worth it. I LOVED my cocktail. I had “Lime in the coconut” - it had ginger in it and was a touch spicy at the end - just divine!!! I then had the Kula Beet Salad and the Buttermilk Fried Chicken. Also amazing. It was spot for me. My husband had the Caesar... it was unexpected and amazing. We loved it so much, we decided to come back two nights later! Go. You won't regret it!

We had aatermelon salad, beet salad, fresh catch (opakapaka), and strip steak. The desserts were unfortunately uninspiring so instead we went out for ice cream. Kinda expensive but you have to expect that at the Andaz.
