“The Shops at Wailea is still one of my favorite places to visit on Maui. Whether you're doing a little shopping, grabbing a bite to eat, or just looking to get out of the sun for a while, it's a beautiful place to spend some time.
The property is well maintained, the landscaping is gorgeous, and the atmosphere is relaxed. It's one of those iconic spots on the south side of Maui that just feels like part of the experience.
Even if you're not planning to buy anything, it's a great place to stroll around, people-watch, and soak in a little Maui air. Highly recommended if you're in the Wailea area. 🌺🌴”

“Piilani Village Shopping Center was a convenient and relaxed place to stop while exploring Maui. It has a good mix of shops, restaurants, and essentials, making it easy to grab food or pick up anything you might need. The area felt clean and easy to navigate, with plenty of parking available. It’s not a major tourist attraction, but it’s a practical and comfortable shopping center that’s useful to have nearby during a trip.”

“Azeka Shopping center is a classic spot in Kihei. The businesses may have changed over the years but the heart and soul is still there. They have great restaurant options, a florist, and even a playhouse. Centrally located in Kihei near by other shops and restaurants. Plenty of parking and easy to navigate. It’s worth a stop to check out the restaurants and maybe a shop or florist.”

“Last year I bought a bracelet from a Craftsman who had a table in the square here. We always get some ice cream after we've shared a lunch. Lovely location with a dock and boats to watch.”

“Just returned from Maui. From the Shops at Wailea, there is a gallery, the Tasini Tiki Gallery, that takes on mythical proportions for its wood and bone carvings by featured artist, Taani Tasini Lavaka. From Tonga, where he learned his art from his father and grandfather, he continues to produce beautiful carvings sought after by admirers from around the world. He is happy to upon your request carve a custom work of anything you may desire. This was one of the highlights of my vacation.”

“Fantastic sandwich from the deli here, along with really friendly employees. I enjoyed the Turkey BLT sandwich and couldn’t believe how big the portion size was. A good selection of snacks and drinks to grab as well, either before/after your visit to Haleakala. It’s part of a lodge and restaurant as well, but I believe those businesses were affected by a recent local fire. But the marketplace is still open so go and support this local gem!”

“Love the Maui Ocean center and next to it is some shops and Pacific Whale Foundation. There's also Tantes restaurant and some other places downstairs.5 hours of free parking for kama'aina. Just text 22 to 42222 and follow the prompts. Super easy. Today I met my hanai kupuna who were visiting for a few hours and we had a nice simple brunch at Tantes and walked around a little bit too. I didn't get a chance to check out all of the shops and haven't been here in awhile but it was nice. I do think they could use an ABC store here for visitors or people taking shuttles to and from here.”
