It was a spectacular evening when we went to the Te Au Moana Luau. The atmosphere, with the ocean view as a backdrop, was breathtaking. The FOOD! A traditional feast was served, family style, to our whole table. Three courses, wonderfully displayed, served in perfect timing. Then the show! The entertainers were fun, funny, and talented, ending with the famous fire dance.I will do this again, when I come back to Maui!

Amazing, worth the money. The staffs went out of their way to ensure that we enjoy our time and provided us an ASL interpreter as we both are deaf. The performers did more than amazing and had us smiling the whole time.

It was an amazing night, enjoyed by our whole group. We took advantage of everything they had to offer - tattoos, local artisans, bookmark making, sunset pictures, open bar and of course the great show. I specifically chose this Luau after much research due to table service of food, which was delicious. Drinks being table service too would have just made this experience top notch (there was a big queue for drinks a lot of the time). It’s not a cheap night but definitely one we will all remember. Kalen our server was fantastic!

We had the best time at this luau! The food was amazing (family style) and we had a gorgeous sunset. The sun will likely be in your eyes during dinner. But the show will be during sunset, which was incredible (see photo below). The performance was well done and we really enjoyed ourselves! I would highly recommend Te Au Moana! We paid for premium seating and it was worth the money. I would recommend the premium seating if you would like to be close to the performance.Parking: Parking was little bit of a walk. But there are golf carts to assist people with mobility challenges.

We were blessed to be there on New Year's Eve. The story telling, singing, music, and dance were phenomenal. Well worth the price. The food and drinks were also on par. Loved the ahi tuna. It was wonderful watching the dancers tell their story and share their culture. We loved how they all looked as if there was no better place to be. Magical night ended with New Year's fireworks show right beyond the stage.

This was my first time at a luau and it was such a fun experience! Yes it is pricey, but you won’t be doing many of these anyways and it was worth a one time experience. Upon arrival, you check in and are given a lei, then taken to your table. It is tables of 10, so expect to meet new people if you don’t have a party of 10. From there, you can go to the open bar to grab drinks (unlimited but maximum 2 per visit to the bar so yes double fist those drinks). Once seated, they start bringing the 3 course meal. There is also a temporary tattoo and bookmark station, along with different local vendors selling souvenirs. Throughout, there will be live musicians playing and hula dances from the wonderful ladies. Once the meal is done, they continue to do bigger group performances and lastly do the fire dance. The food is basically all you can eat, done family style. I liked everything we ate, especially the galbi and taro rolls. Highly recommend trying this especially if you’re staying on the marriot Wailea beach resort property.

This was my first luau and it was absolutely amazing!!! The open bar was perfect for a good night. The food was family style which I kind of don’t like but no problems with the food distributed. The show was amazing from start to finish. Got a premium seat and I swear I had the best seat in the house. Would definitely

So, we went for a New Year’s Eve 2023We went to a Marriott Luau in Kona, and that was a wonderful one, back in January 2020So we thought this would be the same. The food wasn’t tasty, the open bar closed way before the show was ended. And the duration of the show, supposedly to go from 4:30 to about 8 out of 8:30… But ended at 7pm.I’m frustrated!!! Because I told my sons , that would be wonderful, but unfortunately… It wasn’t

We were staying at the Wailea Beach Resort so chose this luau for Christmas dinner given the convenience. I will be forever grateful that Te Au Moana kindly rescheduled our attendance after one of my sons became ill. We had a lovely experience at the luau and our server was terrific, taking a family photo and making sure my kids didn't miss out on the kids activity stations before they closed. The performance was beautiful - the singing, dancing and fire wizardry were captivating! The open bar was a nice way to sample different drinks (including virgin versions for kids). The food was OK, and actually pretty good when you realize this is basically like a giant wedding dinner they have to serve up every night, but just keep in mind you aren't paying for the food so much as the whole experience.

I have not been exposed to much Hawaiian food, so this was rather fascinating. They had a great open bar and the food was high quality. However, if you go super hungry, you may not be full by the end of the night. The table shares the food in a family style manner. The bartenders were extremely amiable and helpful beyond your drinks. It was great to meet new people as well.Kid-friendliness: A child at my table did not want to eat the food served. Luckily, they had chicken strips and french fries as an alternative for them to save the parents the hassle.
