This review is for the pharmacy. (I'm an Oahu resident and am on Maui for Christmas. I asked my doctor to fax my prescription to this location.) I was promptly greeted and the staff was very friendly and courteous. I'd pick up prescriptions here again if I ever need to!Also, just as I got to the counter, I overheard an elderly customer was just wrapping up his vaccination and I felt the good vibes radiating from the staff who administered it. :)

Went in to speak to a pharmacist. The pharmacy manager Melanie came out and was very polite. Listened well. Didn't brush me off. Wasn't distracted. I wasn't filling a prescription or buying anything but she still said "thank you" when our conversation was done.

Totally found this place by accident. We were looking for a Long Drugs with out a map and wow we found it! We went in to ask a few questions about Covid testing. The staff behind the cash register was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Nov. 2021 Bought calendars .88 cents, Christmas cards $7.99 get one 50% off, Maui Shrimp Chips $3.79. Great friendly staff throughout the store!

I'm really shocked that a pharmacy that is allowing COVID-19 vaccines to happen, didn't ask a customer who was around the store for a while to wear a mask. They didn't enforce social distancing when he got in line with a couple. And they still served him and didn't ask or require that he wore a mask. They just don't care? Not what I expected.

I want to start with a Warning- ALWAYS CHECK THE GIFT CARD STUBS WHEN YOU BUY GIFT CARDS TO MAKE SURE IT HAS BEEN ACTIVATED CORRECTLY!BEWARE OF ALL BIG BUSINESS RIGHT NOW (FROM BEFORE COVID EVEN). DO NOT TRUST THEIR WORD, GET IT IN WRITING. ANYTIME YOU HAVE AN ISSUE START COLLECTING EVIDENCE AND TREATING IT LIKE A LEGAL ISSUE- BECAUSE THEY ARE TRYING TO PINCH EVERY PENNY AND NO LONGER CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMER BEING HAPPY WITH THEM WHEN THEY'RE DONE. IF YOU CALL THEM DON'T CROSS THEM OFF OF YOUR LIST BECAUSE YOU CAN'T TRUST THAT WHEN YOU HIT THE BALL TO THEM THEY'LL HIT IT BACK. YOU WILL HAVE TO CALL THEM AGAIN 9/10 TIMES.So... i should probably get back to my review/complaining about CVS Longs Drugs... I don't expect much from the staff (though there are some good ones), but i absolutely love the variety and uniqueness of the products in the store. On the night my problem started (Sept 27) I initially bought $415 worth pf product and when i immediately came back in to exchange some items at the counter the cashier was definitely acting like she hated her job and was taking it out on me. So i went to a different register when i was ready to do the exchange and she was very sweet.Let me get to the heart of the matter though- I bought a Steam Card for my nephews birthday. I DID NOT CHECK THE BALANCE ON THE LITTLE SLIP. ALWAYS CHECK THE BALANCE ON THE LITTLE SLIP! The $50 Steam card has been activated with ZERO DOLLARS/NO MONEY! I can tell you from buying bunches of $10-$20 gift cards for employees stocking stuffers (from a variety of stores), every time we purchased employees would tell me there was a zero balance. Auwe! So I called today Oct 1st, and asked for a manager- the person who answered said they were (but by the end said they weren't- oh my goodness). I let them know my slip says the $50 card is activated and has a value of $0. She told me that it can take up to 24hrs to activate. Seriously?! I have never heard that before- that it may take a bit to actually activate into the gift card's system- okay- but that the slip would say $0 - no, never, doesn't make sense. Not buying it!! Then she tried to say if there was an issue it has now left the store so i have to get help from Steam. Little lesson in business- when you took my money but didn't issue a value to the card- Steam sees that as not their problem, and rightfully so. If i wrote a check to someone that didn't go through because there was no money on my account I wouldn't say it's the banks issue, or the check manufacturers issue. Know what i mean??? LONGS DRUGS-- WHAT IS THE POINT OF THE STUB IF IT SAYS $0 VALUE????????????? And i trusted them so i didn't keep track of the receipt! My bad for trusting them.Went back to see the manager LUCILLE who was not at all sympathetic. She'll never improve in handling putting out fires and therefor customer retention for her employer- because she doesn't listen or show care for the customer. Some of the basics- she would have to fake it - start with showing concern and act like you're listening. Fill a report or just start writing down the Customer information and what happened. The most important thing you want to do- give the customer two options. Neither is going to make the store or the customer 100% happy, but that's just scraping the top of the mgmt iceberg. For instance, if you are not able to offer options because you are not empowered as a manager, go over what you want the customer to do, and tell the customer that you will look into it on your end. And agree that a gift card receipt showing the card got activated with a $0 value is ridiculous - promise you will do everything you can to get that fixed because you represent CVS, and you know this would matter to them. One more mgmt 101 tip- you really want to show the customer why you are the manager, and most importantly be nicer, more professional, more concerned than the regular store employees. I mean, you

I enjoy shopping in this location because of the awesome staff always helpful and willing to assist you. Friendly and effeceint. The store has a variety of choices that you may need, and is a "large" store. Amazing discounts and coupons staff will help you navigate through.

We like this Longs because it's right on the way home. And , next to Foodland. I don't need much here , my wife's make up, cover girl is always in stock. And it has the biggest gumdrop selection I have seen in a long time. We need at least one bag. The line is always short here and the floors are immaculate. This is a sharp store.

As a cannabis grower and user, when I used to go to CVS in California it would usually be for lighters, disposable gloves, rubbing alcohol or hydrogen peroxide. All of these things are either always out of stock or they dont carry here to begin with. I came in a few days in a row to buy a bunch of ice to make hash. The same cashier helped me each time and by the last day she just kept her head down and didn't say anything to me at the end of the transaction. Place is a joke

The location recently changed it's hours of operation. It's now open until midnight. Kind of sucks for me who gets off work after midnight.

The pharmacy has not been the same since CVS took over. A lot of the grand opening pharmacy crew are no longer working here at this location. The staff is also running on a skeleton crew which in exchange with longer wait times of excess of 20 minutes. Oh the pharmacy will make you wait longer if you are verbal with your concerns. But they always have so called valid reason that is script for the delay of your scripts, which I'm waiting for my asthma inhaler. Also with OTC meds this location is always out of things.
