Absolutely fabulous experience; if I could give six stars I would. I had a collectable print in my closet for more than two years that I had been meaning to get framed, and I am so glad I waited until I came to Northshore Art and Frame to do so.Sean's artistic talents and grand eye for color helped guide me to the perfect color and frame, and I sincerely can't get over how good it came out. When I initially dropped the poster off I knew it was going to look great when I came back to pick it up, but I didn't know just how much I would love it. The frame he helped me choose makes an already vibrant poster pop, and immediately grabs the attention of anyone who enters the room. It has not been hanging for a week at this point and already it is the first thing every single guest comments on. I've framed things in the past and have seen some beautiful frames, but the fantastic job Sean did has made me reconsider how much of a difference a frame can really make.If you are looking to get something framed I would highly recommend coming here. Sean is easy to talk to, will help you pick out exactly what is right for your art, and you will leave completely flawed and in awe of the job he did every time you look at it hanging in your home. Additionally, he is an amazing artist and has my beautiful pieces and prints for sale. I'm looking forward to coming back and decorating my home with Sean's work. Thank you again!

I met Sean Baba when I serendipitously walked into his shop on Market Street and asked the question, "Can you help me clean this up and frame it for my granddaughter's room?" Incredibly dirty with hazy plexiglas and a dinged up frame, it was a Davo-like collage of Marilyn Monroe, a 1960s movie star that my teenage granddaughter has loved since she was just a little girl. In spite of its condition, Sean never flinched. Instead he trained his eye on the moisture damage, mostly around the edges, and showed me how a wide matte and black frame would turn my sow's ear into a silk purse. And he did it! It is stunning. I must agree with each of my fellow previous reviewers for Northshore Art and Frame. In addition, Sean has such a welcoming, unassuming, knowledgeable presence. I had the pleasure of casually stopping in while I was in Wailuku Town at the moment my artwork was being mounted. Literally, caught mid-air with my piece in hand, I was able to experience some of the framing process. It's beautiful when you encounter people so passionate, professional and full of pride about the work they do. GREAT job, Sean -- Mahalo!

North shore art and frame is my new go to framer. Sean pays attention to detail. Being an artist he has an eye for what looks right. His prices are reasonable and he really cares about the art that he is framing. No detail gets forgotten. Great job!! Would definately recommend them . Something new and fresh at way better prices than anyone else on the island.
