Overall thoughts on this post office: incompetent (packages will be shipped to the wrong place or be lost often) yet very nit picky ..not a fun mixture to deal with. Will conduct business else where.

I have consistently had great experiences with the wonderful staff at the Wailuku post office.I have lived in many states (and many countries!) and can confidently say that I have never had better post office service elsewhere.Today within a couple of hours they traced a miss-delivered package and got it delivered to me. Considering how busy they are, their commitment to service is nothing short of amazing. In another instance they helped me prove to PayPal a scam case of fake delivery.Five starts to all the hard working employees and management of this post office!?

My favorite USPS! I mean how can I not love it? The staffs are friendly, work fast, and they are sweet! They advise me for more affordable price to send my package. They never try to rob me! So sweet aunties and sisters working here!

Great service but I mostly do delivery option when they deliver they ask if anyone's home then politely hand it to us. However I find some of my boxes dented. That didint effect the product I ordered but coming in a dented box is kinda careless.

Before The Post Office. There was a Wailuku Sugar Mill In The Late 1800s. Raw sugar Cane Was Hauled by ox carts and by a Pair of Mule Teams. In The late 1906 This Mill made it's was way for a New $400'000 at the Same Site, which operated until 1978. That Mill was Razed in the Mid-80s to make way for the Millyard Office and Residential subdivision.

The staff here is always attentive to you shipping needs. In my opinion they always go above and beyond everytime I am there. Can be busy at times but they handle with smiles and Aloha.

Always been good. Definitely been missing Sue's mid morning deliveries - (I think she retired) But for months it seems they may be having delivery difficulties. Wrong parcel in box, tracking 'out for delivery" was in the mail vehicle but wasn't put in my box. Driver's up and down our one way road more than once a day. Also saw who I think was a supervisor having to deliver. Possibly due to inexperienced new hires, training, etc?

Entered the post office to open a P.O. box, which I did in multiple metropolitan cities and to include cities with small populations. I asked if po boxes are available and was informed yes, and I would need to comeback with correct documentation. I was slightly stuck in misunderstanding and proceeded to fill out the application, which reminded me in my state of complete blissful ignorance that the vehicle I just purchased lacked insurance, which is one of the requirements. For non photo I’d. The photo is could be a drivers license or passport. I returned with an insurance policy, progressive, drivers license and passport. I was then told that I would need something with my address. My drivers license has my home of record address, and my stay in Hawaii is not certain for me having the ability to work self employed, as a contractor, or under another company. The form it’s states that a current address is needed not a physical or a mailing just and address. I’m my dealings with the United States government, which I was also informed with a hint of attitude the United States Post Office is a private company and not restricted to adhere to one form of government regulation. That every post office. United States is different. I will not believe that. I was informed I could use a work ID, which confused me longer than it should more over the thought of every post office having their own regulation. I work I’d doesn’t have an address. This to me is another example of people under government regulation and retirement destroying government policy based on personal interest. ( votes for Clinton, although I perceive these same individual the ones that dislike Donald Trump for doing the same things on another level). ( Merica) Lady in front is the one implementing these policies.

Normally, I'd say this post office is the best. Unfortunately, we've had a second instance of our package not reaching it's destination and it shows that the package didn't leave Hawaii. I submitted a claim online to the USPS and someone called from the mainland and told me to call the local post office to find out why the package didn't leave Hawaii. Can someone give me the phone number for the Wailuku Post Office? Finding it is like hunting for a needle in a haystack. I think the guy from the mainland should be calling them and looking for the package--NOT ME. Just reduced the rating to one star--because that's like 1 percent effort at customer service.
