What a cute little gallery and a great use for a historic building. Follow the signs.

Nice, ever-changing, local artist co op gallery. All mediums, reasonable prices. Don't miss the little room to the left as you enter.

Tiny spot operated by a local art co-op, but filled with well done local pieces. Friendly, knowledgeable staff (i.e. the artists who volunteer to keep the gallery running).

This is also the location of the Firehouse Gallery. It is a former firehouse that the Waimea Arts Council uses to display the art created by local artists. There are some really nice pieces here. We decided upon a drawing of Saffron Finches; my wife loves those small birds that are actually not Finches - who would have guessed :) We were also fortunate enough to be there on one of the few days when the President of the Council, Amaury, was managing the gallery. We were able to have a delightful conversation with Amaury and view some of the great work of Waimea's artists.
