Their tomatoes are full off water (hydro) and get mushy after a few days, absolutely rock bottom for taste and flavor, a waste of money imo... If you can find a local small farmer that has earth grown tomatoes buy them up.... Good luck...

You need to revise your information on Google maps, apple maps, etc. This is a business that is not open to the public and tourists. The visitor sign should be revised to business visitors only.

These are the worst tasting tomatoes I've ever had in my life and infused with something to make them look like they're good, quite the opposite, tasteless, 100% tasteless.

Outstanding company, delicious tomatoes, and very kind people! For what it's worth, the "foreign workers" at Kawamata are actually interns who are here on agricultural training programs with the support of the U.S. State Department. The Program supports the global advancement of agriculture and is a crucial component of these interns' agricultural studies!

Tomatoes are grown hydroponically which means they are chalked full of chemicals and have very little nutrients. This company hires almost entirely foreigners who earn less than minimum wage and live at the farm. The workers don’t care because it’s still more than what they make in the Philippines and they can scam the USA government (you and me) for retirement of social security and then move back to Philippines. So if you want to support all this then buy these tomatoes yeah. Also just my opinion, they used to have small tomatoes that were good but the big ones they sell at Costco are pretty bland and tasteless. but the don’t taste that good either.

"Unique sweetness and texture" is described on package but is not what the consumer gets. How can a Hawaii grown , greenhouse grown tomatoe have so little flavor? Please use different seeds to start with and produce a tomatoe worth buying and eating...that would be worth every penny!

I bought 2 Kamuela "Beefstake" tomatoes from the Kaneohe Safeway June 1, and they looked beautiful. Imagine my disappointment when I sliced the first one to sample, and found it mealy, kind of dry, and utterly tasteless. I'll never buy another!
