“My cat had a severe abscess and infection. My normal vet missed a through and through cat bite in my little cat’s ear. As a result, my cat’s ear became grossly infected and abscessed. My usual vet doesn’t take emergency calls.

I literally spent all day today calling around trying to find vets. They all advertise that they see “emergencies,” but refuse to see a new patient as an emergency. I was denied by five vets and was desperate. I even drove an hour and a half to Kona to go to an animal “urgent care” that was booked out and couldn’t see me on an urgent basis.

I called Dr Jaclyn in desperation and she went above and beyond to see my little cat on an emergency basis on the weekend!
She came in on her day off and even called me and walked me through directions while I was driving to ensure I would find her facility.
When I got there, both her and her tech came in on an emergency basis. Not just one person, but two! Both were extremely knowledgeable, concerned and experienced.

She spent a lot of time with me and my cat and explained everything in detail. Nothing was rushed. She did a procedure on my cat and gave me the best quality products to take home for wound care.

She’s truly a gem. A true old school, hard working veterinarian who handles true emergencies- rather than just wanting to work 9 to 5 like all the rest!

When I was there, I learned that she sees all types of animals which is great because it shows a greater breadth of knowledge.

She also very nice, down to earth, and kind.

She also charge me a reasonable fee given she and her staff came in on a weekend!

If I could give a ten stars, I would!
