We needed to get some snacks before going out for the day, so we got a few musubis for the road. We grabbed three different ones, so I was stuck with the longaniza musubi one. The flavor was good and there was enough rice for me, but I prefer the traditional ones or with a different meat instead. Overall, it was pretty tasty though!

Excellent customer service skills! Great products. I love the calm vibe and humble environment. It's only 8 minutes from my home and if u go at noon u will see the firemen hero's picking up lunch. So cool! They also don't charge for shopping bags.

They have very little produce selection and what they did have was in poor condition. I went on a Thursday and wanted to purchase ground beef. The meat cutter told me they were out and did not expect more till Saturday. What?!?! This is the first time I've ever shopped at a grocery store that didn't have ground beef...needless to say I had to drive all the way to Eleele Big Save for my ground beef and produce. The Eleele location had a wider variety of produce and it was fresh! They also had lots of ground beef...comes down to very poor management at the Waimea store.

Very unfriendly, don't bother shopping here. They have a bathroom but denied letting us use it when our 6 year old needed one. A local told us that was wrong on our way out of this store. Nice going Big Save, the service industry does not last treating customers like this. Hopefully the owner reads this and changes the policy.

Stopped in for snacks, beverages and post cards (lol). Visited Kauai April 17-20. After the storm. Drove south to Waimea. Found this local gem.

Good prices and stocked with items I usually buy at Times Market on Oahu (they are partners with Times). Nice staff, lots of parking and easy access off the main highway. This is our go to store when staying up at Kokee. Mahalo!
