I'm a selective shopper that goes for sales once in a blue moon to replace work attire. I care about top quality clothes. I last bought work pants three years ago and amazed that it's in great condition after going through front load washer and dryer almost weekly. Now, I decided to replace a few tops and a sweater with three sweaters for work. Workers on sales floor, fitting room, and register were very helpful and friendly. Regular price for each sweater was $75, minus two discounts, price reduced to $22.49. Definitely a win win scenario.

Hardly ever go in there. Was shopping near by. Just found my old BR store chargecard when doing taxes. Got 11 items (shirts&pants) for $205 including tax. First quality, not seconds. My old card expired so I got extra discount for a new card plus in store discounts. Definitely worth a stop. Mens is along the far left wall from door. Clearance and regular inventory.

Really uncomfortable experience, I spent $300 right before Christmas and came in today to exchange a shirt, you’d have thought we broke something they way we were treated, no speaking just angry guy exchanging the shirt, I walked around while my husband picked out new items and the woman working the store was staring at me. I left the area because it was weird and then I see her again watching me! Like I was going to steal, we left after the the exchange the woman was glaring at me again and I turned around and she watched us leave like we’d done something to them personally. I don’t know what both of their issues were but we’ll never be back to this store. They didn’t need to act like we are in their living room going through their stuff. Very odd. We are nice people so it’s always off putting to be treated bad after we make sure to be good to people. Can’t always escape jerks I guess.

Don't you just love surprises...in sales! I love Banana Republic Factory Store here in Waikele Outlet as I thought they had closed as many of my favorites have but I found that they moved to another location "whew!" as there are two lots they moved to the one with much more larger stores with Lowes anchoring. Always finding great deals here today I took Mom here as she's very selective and knew we'd find something and we certainly...well I did lol!! Found something perfect and it was 40% off woah!!!! As I was waiting for her to try it on I noticed someone scanning an item for a price check...ohhh that's cool so as she came out I instantly took it and yes she loved it and will get it, she says with the discount it will probably be $16 she says as I think it was $30 originally...nope...$6.70! Omg mom you got to get it and we did haha just finding items that are great deal just makes you giggle and we both did! Shopaholic does run in the family but my eyes find things that gets me in situations and I trap mom into it. Thank you!

I'd like to take the time to recognize a sales associate who goes by DJ. I was looking for a specific type of denim pants that I consistently purchase. I was unaware that the type of pants I purchase had different fits (Slim, skinny, athletic), guess I'd been lucky thus far. DJ must've overheard or noticed my distress and stopped what he was doing, he explained to me the differences along with showing me where I can find the fit I preferred. He casually left and I did not get a chance to thank him personally. Thx DJ.

I purchased an item from here and the cashier forgot to take the security tag off. Went back to the store to get it removed and the salesperson asks for a receipt. Wth?! It's not a return. I had to waste gas to come back to your store to correct a mistake YOU made and you're asking me for a receipt?! What difference would a receipt make when all you are doing is removing the tag?! Then she says she has to ask the manager. Well your manager should be making sure the employees remember to remove the security tag. Unbelievable!

My daughter needed a suit for interviews. Our choices were very slim because she is a size 0 petite. I normally shop at Ann Taylor, but all of the Hawaii stores closed. Decided to go to BR outlet. We walked in and browsed the racks. Several employees were on the floor, but they were more interested in fixing and folding clothes. The only time I saw an employee talk to someone was with another employee. We finally found a very small suit area near the dressing room. There was a size 4p jacket and I also found some size 2 pants. The pants was a little baggy and long. I searched the shelves for a smaller size. I couldn't find any, so I asked the salesperson in the dressing room. She just took my item and scanned it. She responded, "nope" to a smaller size. The pants was just too baggy, so I headed back out to the floor. I found a different pant style with more petite sizes. Took the 0P to her and it fit! Yehhh! The jacket was a little big, but there was only two jackets left on the rack, which were all larger sizes. Should I ask again and get irritated? I decided not to. My daughter must have tried on 6 pairs of pants and couple blouses. I told her to just hand it over the sales person. We ventured over to the register. Two cashiers working but only one helping customers. The male cashier was busy doing paperwork. When we were next in line, the cashier was very nice. She was older, so she asked my daughter if this was for work.. my daughter told her it was for an interview. Since I purchased a bag, the cashier gave her a garment bag for her suit. She told her good luck and thanked us for shopping. If it wasn't for the cashier, I would have given 1 stars It's funny (not really) that my sister just went to the same store and she mentioned that the sales staff are not very nice... so it wasn't just me. Banana has been known for lack of customer service in the past. I guess nothing has changed.

Great price, but smaller than outlet malls in the mainland U.S.

Was able to go back to this store following covid shutdown and relocation. Wife uses reward points, but unfortunately three separate rewards had lapsed due to our not being able to shop recently. As we made our purchase, we inquired if there was any way we could retain the rewards. David, supervisor/manager, was called to assist. He recommended we phone in to the company and inquire. Satisfied with that answer, we made our purchase and turned to leave. Then David asked, "Would you like me to call?" Certainly! He put us in contact with customer service, and they were able to combine our expired rewards points into a new one. More impressively, David had gone out of his way to help us. He didn't have to, as we were already ok with the situation. However, that extra step was noticed and appreciated. Good job banana republic, rest assured David is taking care of the customers.
